Could Arnold Return For Another Terminator???

| Filed under: Film FlickersArnold Schwarzenegger

could arnold return as a terminator

Will he back as a Terminator?

When Arnold Schwarzenegger announced that he'd be returning to acting, we were very excited, but a bit sad to hear that he wouldn't be "throwing himself around the room and shooting people" anymore. Gotta love those classic Arnie flicks!

Now it looks like Arnie's return to acting has ignited movement on another Terminator movie, so we're wondering if maybe the former Governator would be willing to throw himself around a little bit more if the paycheck script is right.

Looks like Universal has taken an interest in the next Terminator, perhaps as a directing vehicle for Fast and the Furious franchise director Justin Lin.

We're not 100% sure if we think the Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift director is necessarily the right choice for the next Terminator, but if Arnold were involved, we'd feel a WHOLE LOT better, regardless of who gets attached to direct.

What do U think? Any chance that Arnold might agree to do one more Terminator movie?

Who gives a shit about this has-been! He sucked as governor just like he sucks at his movies….enough already! How many more movies do we have to hear that pathetic accent!

oh please …… not another one !!!!

This would be a mistake. The first 2 Terminator movies were great. A great deal of credit goes to James Cameron for their success. But the 3rd installment was terrible, and don't get me started on McG's unwatchable Terminator Salvation crapfest. You don't need Arnold to restart the franchise. You just need a good story and director. Any actor can play a cyborg. Hell, get Keanu Reeves. He wooden and emotionless like a robot.

    Actually you're wrong, as usual.
Arnold was on T3 and it was the biggest piece of shit ever. That movie was a joke.
T4 brought it back and it'd be great if Arnold were on T5 if the script and director as great.

He nearly terminated California, does that count?

    He must need money…
Honestly no matter how great T2 OR T3 or how ever many there was, no matter how good they were, HIS ASS IS OLD…..
NO ONE WANTS TO SEE HIS OLD ASS TRYING TO HOLD A GUN THAT HE PROBABLY DOESNT EVEN HAVE THE ENERGY TO HOLD UP… IT'S JUST NOT FUN TO WATCH..
IM SURE HE ALSO HAS THAT KIND OF ASS OLD PEOPLE GET ( YOU ALL KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT) WHO WANTS TO SEE THAT IN LEATHER PANTS….
JUST COLLECT UNEMPLOYMENT LIKE THE REST OF THE COUNTRY….

Sure, but he should fictionally have handed the reins down to his son or protege, and the young guy saves him when he has trouble keeping up.

OK, so my heart started beating faster when I thought about the possibility of another Terminator movie. I love that franchise but they fucked it up after number 2 - so much so that I haven't even seen the Christian Bale movie. If the next one was actually good and had the proper characters attached to it (aka Edward Furlong, Arnie & Linda) then I would be super excited. I don't know how they could involve Linda since the assholes killed her off previously, but I'm sure it could be done somehow.

Arnold's already said he's getting too old for throwing himself around in some of those action scenes, so I don't think he's going to come back for another Terminator film, unless he's playing another role. Roland Kickinger, who played Arnold's Terminator in the McG film, might be a possibility. He looks enough like Arnold that he was cast as Arnold (in his bodybuilding days) in the movie about Arnold's run for Governor of California, and if they choose to do another Terminator, he'd be perfect.
