This partridge will not be imprisoned.
This afternoon, David Cassidy pled no contest to his DUI charge stemming from last year and managed to avoid jail time. Sources report that instead, Cassidy received a majorly reduced sentence of one-year probation and a six-month license suspension. He was also ordered to perform 50 hours of community service, pay $500 in fines and attend a mandatory alcohol-education course and a DUI "victim impact panel."
All sounds pretty reasonable to us, especially that DUI "victim impact panel." Hopefully, that experience will give the former teen idol a bit more perspective.
