Oh, if only this were a post about the foursome from Dawson's Creek returning to the small screen for a long-awaited, desperately prayed for reunion. We know it's never going to happen, but we can still dream…
Anyway, sources are reporting some good news for James Van Der Beek. The Beekster has been cast in a new ABC pilot called Don't Trust The Bitch in Apartment 23. Alongside Dreama Walker and Krysten Ritter, James will reportedly play a "heightened version of himself" who pals around with Krysten's wild child character in New York City.
On a side note, the role was originally intended for Lance Bass, but the execs rewrote it to better fit James' personality.
Faaaaaboosh! We're happy to hear James has gotten a lead-role again. Over the years, he's done fairly well in the bit player role. Now, we want to see MORE! Throw on some DILF Khakis and show us what you've got, Leery!
Cue a Katie Holmes smile!!! Ha!
