He gave her a standing "O" and everything!

Last night, Vanessa Paradis filled the New York air with her sweet melodies as she performed a post-Valentine's Day show in Manhattan. For two hours, Vanessa delighted a packed house with some of her beautiful music, dedicating one song to "love and fire," and finishing out the night with a gorgeous rendition of Jeff Buckley’s Hallelujah.

Up in the balcony sat Johnny Depp himself, reportedly smiling and totally fixated on the mother of his children. When the show came to close, he rose to his feet and cheered enthusiastically. He was soon joined by the entire crowd and her standing ovation lasted for several minutes. Luckily, the couple were able to skedaddle out of the venue quickly and safely, reportedly waving happily to fans as they got into a private car.

Sounds like it was magical and mellow evening. How many of those can they say they get? Good for them! Keep the love alive, you two!

Hmmm I am pretty sure that Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah is just a remake of Leonard Cohen's, so really she was singing a rendition of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. I am pretty sure..

they are such a cute couple.

I'm with posters 1 and 2. Leonard Cohen wrote and performed the song first. That being said, I think that these two are beautiful together, and I'm glad that they can keep their relationship going after all this time.

Hey Perez, I love ya - I do!!! But c'mon - this is 2 blows to Canada in 24 hrs - I mean, I thought you loved us up north?!!
Tonight calling Hallelujah Buckley's is just so so wrong, and you are in the music biz? I'll give you a break, but this gorgeous song actually is Leonard Cohen's and just so you know he is CANADIAN - that is something we get excited about indeed! In fact, the amazing Canadian songstress kd lang is up for a Cdn Juno award for her rendition of his song at last Feb's Winter Olympics which were held in Vancouver - oh yeah, that's the other thing we've been excited about - the Olympics! There's a hellova lot going on in Canada other than a royal viz - and for that matter, they occur quite regularly - the Queen was over last summer for a couple of weeks. C'mon Perez - I know you are a busy man, and I do love you, but please, catch up on your music knowledge & your foreign affairs! x

It's true Jeff Buckley didn't write the song, but he does an amazing rendition and is the most awesome musician ever!! Check him out if you want to see what real music and beauty is R.I.P. JB

I knew you'd pick up on skedaddle, because you're fanciful and imaginative; and you spelled it the right way.
