LiLo Thankful For Charlie's Advice!

| Filed under: Lindsay LohanWacky, Tacky & TrueCharlie Sheen

Well, she could have taken the 'advice' a lot worse!

The world had one big, collective laugh yesterday when Charlie Sheen called in to The Dan Patrick Show yesterday and advised Lindsay Lohan to "work on her impulse control," but apparently, the actress herself was appreciative of the words!

According to sources, although LiLo doesn't believe she has a problem with her self-control and disregarded that comment, she still "appreciates Charlie giving his support."

That's the proper attitude, bb!

He may not see the ridiculous irony in his comments, but he means well!

Well if you look at it from another perspective, maybe he is speaking from an experience is it hypocritical if an Alcoholic tells another person in serious danger of becoming an alcoholic not to drink, possibly but they are also speaking from the perspective of being on the bad side of alcoholism and knowing how hard it is to curb the cravings and impulses too drink. They are in too far they don't want rto see another person go down the road they are travelling.

    Charlie wants to bang her.
She's being kind towards his comments because he's the wealthiest person to pay her any attention, and she's broke.

I totally agree with Susan. It can be seen as hypocritical, but really… who better to give advice then an addict himself?

It kills me that people assume addicts don't know right from wrong. And have no right in saying anything on the topic that contradicts their own behaviour. Just because they're fu*king up, doesn't mean they don't know it!

Charlie is speaking from first hand experience, and is the perfect person to be giving advice to Lindsay.

This comment is mostly for Lindsay but there may be some others that could benefit as well.
Lindsay, hopefully you will figure it out sooner than later. There are a lot of people in this world that refuse to admit they are addicts and I see this everyday in a program that I am grateful I'm in.
I see young people come into the program fighting because they are either court ordered or someone that loves them tries to help them.
What ever the case is, You have a couple of choices, either fight it and go through all the pain that goes along with it or accept that you are an addict and help yourself. No body can do this for you Lindsay, it will only happen when you want it. I hope you figure it out before it kills you! The system and all the idiotic ways they think they can stop you be it jail, rehab or institutions will only make it worse inside your head. If you get this message somehow, I hope you will just take a sec and help yourself. You and I both know there are a lot of reasons for what you do but burying them and trying to drown them by using is not gunna work. Trust me on this, it only took me 42 years of sadness and using to finally accept. I would hate for you to have to that kind of a self imposed sentence.

LiLo is the only one that can do the fix!! Hopefully she will listen to people that have "been there, done that". Good job Charlie! What a long road this can be.

This reminds me of Jackass when Steve-o said "When you get an intervention from Johnny Knoxville, you know there's a serious problem." Open your eyes Lindsay, you're getting advice from Charlie Sheen. Sad.

I think Charlie is clearly and purposely making an ironic comment, and Lindsay is clearly and purposely making a sarcastic response.

Well, he WAS trying to give her some support. He said they (the press) are desperate for any chance to vilify, as well.
