The Relationship Between Snyder And WB Strained

Zack Snyder And WB Splitting Up Maybe

Not good!

Right on the heels of the information that Guy Ritchie might be replacing Zack Snyder on the 300 follow up, Xerxes, we get news that the relationship between Snyder and the WB might be more strained than we thought.

Why?

Well, a source has this to say:

"It could be because the studio wants him to concentrate fully on the “Superman” man they’ve hired Snyder to do. At the same time, they’re also hearing that Snyder’s latest film “Sucker Punch” hasn’t been testing very well and that’s spurred the decision to cut ties cleanly and swiftly."

We're somewhat surprised at the mention of Sucker Punch's quality, because until this point it looked visually interesting enough that we were kinda looking forward to seeing it!

Snyder had been relatively hot for WB, but it looks like that's simmering down when the studio looks back at the lackluster box office numbers for both Watchmen and that owl movie The Legend of the Guardians in conjunction with the Sucker Punch shizz.

Add all this to the rumors of the script for the Superman reboot being in dire need of help in the last act, and you have confidence disappear in a huge rush.

Zack, bb, we're still holding out for you here! We hope everything ends up amazing for you!!

Thoughts??

Nice enough guy. Mediocre director. Sacrifices substance for style. He could only fail upwards for so long. Left in his hands, this Superman reboot will be the death of the franchise.

Yeah that movie Sucker Punch looked like crap. Watchman was crap. I don't care what anyone says. Heath Ledger was Batman's only saving grace. I really can't believe they entrusted such a big franchise name with him. Well with this being his main focus his only excuse would be lack of talent. He already screwed up the casting… I'm with Wawa, this is going to suck.
