Paris' Stolen Birthday Cake Makers Respond To Controversy!

Well, they're taking the news pretty well!

In light of the news that Paris Hilton's $3,200 birthday cake was stolen by a drunken party crasher, the company that baked it, Lucid Absinthe, has issued the following statement:

“It is very unfortunate that someone stole the cake from Paris’s birthday party. We had the cake designed especially for Paris with Lucid in the batter and a beautiful representation of Lucid's artwork on it, which she had requested to meet the Moulin Rouge theme of the party. We’re happy that Paris and her guests were able to enjoy a night of Lucid cocktails, including the Paris Lemonade / Paris frozen Lucid Sorbet – and only wish that the guests could have tried her delicious cake. As for Paz, feel free to connect with us on the Lucid Absinthe Facebook page, where we would love to hear your side of the story and thoughts on the cake!”

Wowza! Sounds like they're just more concerned about getting feedback about how it tasted!

Ha! We still don't condone what happened, but at least there aren't too many hard feelings - at least on their end!

Thoughts??

They DO sound more concerned about feedback! haha

I maintain that anyone who spends $3,200 on a birthday cake deserves to have it stolen. Yet another example of the level of decadence displayed by ultra-wealthy Beverly Hills brats. To spend that kind of money on something you don't even want is pretty insulting considering the fact that the middle class is literally evaporating right now.

$3,200 is 3 or 4 months worth of groceries for most people. For that reason, I say "Fuck Paris Hilton AND her cake."

  4. 4

if yall want to check out what the cake looks like go to lamebook.com

its pretty and the guy who stole it says its f*cking delicious!!

  5. 5

A picture of the stolen cake was JUST on LAMEBOOK.com! ROFL at the irony! ;D

  6. 6

Seems like it was supposed to be stolen, thus the following press coverage, and promotion of what I'm sure was a donated cake in the first place. This story, um, takes the cake. (Horrible comedy, I know)

Re: Mario_Sucks.com – In that case, you deserve to have your computer stolen, since you believe that people with extra finances are worthy of that kind of thing. *rolls eyes*

  8. 8

Uhm, how would you like your spam?
They are in no way concerned about Paris. They saw the incident as a way of promoting themselves and their products and basically gave a menu in their press release. Classless.

  9. 9

Are we sure it wasn't Christina Aguilera that stole the cake??!

  10. 10

Well. They're cake costed 3,200. What else did you think would happen :P

  11. 11

im glad this company is only shamelessly promoting their own asses, just like she does. You'd have to be a mental nut case to pay 3200 dollars for 1 fucking cake. she got what she deserved.

  12. 12

Ok, that's the stupidest name for a cake company ever…Lucid Absinthe? Sounds like a really terrible garage band featuring Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons.

  13. 13

was the cake small or something?! how were they navigating through the crowd of people at the party unnoticed WTH

  14. 14

Perez, I know you made your reputation by hanging out with paris hilton, attending soirees with her, and being her public syophant to the point of praising her gawd awlful music. That was years ago, though. When are you going to understand that no one cares about the Valtrex Vagina anymore? Her 15 minutes are up, even if her vaginal cold sores aren't.

  15. 15

Re: snow – You mean they sound more concerned about the free publicity. How many times can they mention their own brand name in one paragraph?

  16. 16

Parasite Hilton's 15 minutes are up. No one cares.

  17. 17

Parasite said on Letterman that she wanted to have children. Poor kids - they have a great chance of being born with herpes in their eyes.

  18. 18

This is such a non story - who cares?

  19. 19

She looks like shit, particularly with her wonky eye. Soon, Parasite will only be able to earn a living in porn. Hope she's learned to suck dick better than she did on her sex tape.

  20. 20

Of course they want to know how it tasted. They're the makers.
Perhaps Paz did it to get his 15 minutes of fame. Now we know he is an artist. Guess Paris will sue his ass.

  21. 21

Today's NY Post reports that Parasite and her latest client are shopping for wedding rings. Why did I use the term "client," you ask? Well, Parasite spent her first year in Los Angeles as an apartment hooker. She ran ads in the LA Free Press and she would suck your dick and fuck you twice in an hour for $200.

What kind of an idiot would marry a whore with herpes? Poor fellow…that marriage will last until his cock rots off from the multitude of STDs that Parasite carries in her valtrex vagina.

  22. 22

Paris just forgot she wheeled it into the linen closet….she will do anything for publicity and here you have it…we are talking about her. These things only happen to her.
Should have gone with the Cake Boss anyways.

  23. 23

I CONDONE IT ! THE GUYS MY HERO FOR TOO MANY REASONS TO LIST !LET THEM EAT CAKE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  24. 24

Sounds to me like they want to shamelessly plug their company in that statement by mentioning their name no less than 5 times.

  25. 25

HONESTLY? ALL I CAN THINK ABOUT IS LIGHT WHITE FROSTING ON A CAKE. ANYTHING NEAR PARIS HILTON THAT IS WHITE AND FROTHY MAKES ME WANT TO GAG, IF YOU GET MY DRIFT.

  26. 26

OH PULEEEZ, SOUNDS LIKE A FUCKING AD PLACEMENT. LIKE THEY FUCKING CARE. IT'S BOUGHT AND PAID FOR SO NOT LIKE THEY LOST ANYTHING.

  27. 27

check out Lamebook. Picture of the stolen cake in the dude's living room!

  28. Mtl23 says – reply to this

    28

HAHAHA I saw the pics on lamebook of the cake this morning also lol its still there

  29. Dan85 says – reply to this

    29

Of course they only cared about the feedback about the cake. They're a cake business. they dont care as much as you do about the spoiled rich girl who had her cake stolen.

  30. 30

This has publicity stunt written all over it, for all involved!!

  31. 31

maybe if Lucid's Paris Lemondade/Lucid Sorbet wasn't so Lucid strong, then Paz wouldn't have stolen the Lucid cake with Lucid baked inside so it had the right Lucid taste, and then Lucid wouldn't have been so upset about the theft of the Lucid cake.

    Lucid.

  32. 32

Well, if he was telling the truth that the cake was uneaten and going to be thrown out, I'd be glad that someone rescued and ate it. Just sayin'.

  33. 33

  34. 34

Yeah, like this wasn't a huge publicity stunt! For one, they sneak the cake out by "whizzing" past security with a huge 3-tiered cake? Were monkeys hired to secure this party? And then the cops weren't called? Riiiight…Annnnd, the cake is "rushed" in to a tiny ass car, but happens to arrive safely on this guys kitchen table without so much as the slightest disturbance to the frosting? You've allllll been fooled if you seriously think Paris wasn't in on this!

I worked at a professional bakery to put myself through school, and $3400.00 for any cake is a way, way overinflated price tag, and they see you coming.
If you're into paying 5 or 10 times more than you would anywhere else for a name, go for it.
