Grammy Reporter Speaks Out, Explains How "Terrified" She Was During On-Air Scare

Wow. Hearing her talk about the ordeal in her own words really puts into perspective how scary this moment was for her.

This morning, for the first time, Serene Branson, whose slurred Grammy coverage became a national concern, came forward to talk about what exactly happened to her last Sunday night and update us on how she is doing now.

Check out the video (above) to hear Serene tell her story and receive a very warm welcome from her co-workers.

It's so nice to hear her speak so eloquently again.

Well I'm glad she's doing okay, but it's still scary to know that the symptoms of a severe migraine can be the same as a stroke…

    Wow…that's crazy.

I feel so bad for her, because I have the same type of migraine that happens fairly often to me. The first time that it happened, I tried to call someone because I knew something wasn't right, and I sounded just like her :) it is the scariest thing to go through. now that I know what it is, I can tell when one's coming on because your eyesight is the first to go.
I thought that I was dying the first time it happened to me, I'm so glad that it didn't take her as long to figure out what was going on as it did me!

Thinking about the wellbeing of an employee instead of the job. How unamerican.

I am glad she is better. I also miss watching Pat LaLama. Im from L.A. and watched KCAL and when I go home found her on KCBS. She should be on GMA or The Today Show. She is amazing.

My daughter has had this kind of migraine and her boyfriend was too stupid to call us or take her to the hospital. If anyone demonstrates these kinds of symptoms, they HAVE to be seen by a doctor.

I have migraines but never like that, i've never even heard of such! But if you can see things with a migraine i'm sure it can effect your speech too. Thank god she's okay!

Sounds like she was talking to you on that video Perez, at the point 7:15

Remember when you said she was on drugs?

Whats wrong with this site's video clip settings? Or is it my computer settings? There IS NO CLIP, just a blank white space. None of the clips load on this site. I have never had this problem with any other site. Perez, whats the deal? If its my end, anyone know how I fix my settings?
As to the migraines, I'm a migraine sufferer and have to take preventative medication every day. I've never been as bad as her, but I have problems in my mind sorting out what I want to say, finding the words and verbalising it. I feel very confused and disoriented, and don't know how to say how I'm feeling or know what words to use/get the words out. Its very frustrating.

Who cares? She should show us her tits.

Re: Tybee Ted – Fuck You! I hope you get a migraine so bad one day, that it leaves you in agony you sack of shit. Show some compassion and grow up.

I'm glad everything turned out alright for her. It was very concerning to see her having an episode live on air. She is such a positive person and she has now brought awareness to the matter.
