SUXXXXX!!!!!! CRAPTASTIC AT BEST. STRAIGHT TO DVD, ER… I MEAN STRAIGHT TO 'DOWNLOAD'.

  2. 2

IT'S A ROMCOM. THE QUEENS OF ROMCOMS ARE KATE HUDSON AND JENNIFER ANISTON. ROMCOMS ARE FORMULAIC BUT ARE ALMOST ALWAYS A FUN WATCH IF THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR.

  3. 3

Oh, I want to see this one!!!! I hated that over wedding movie with Kate, this one looks good.

  4. 4

This is actually adapted from Emily Giffin's novel of the same name. There's a follow up named Something Blue. I'm pretty excited about this. It's extremely well-written so I hope the movie lives up to it

  5. 5

i read the books, so i hope this movie gives them justice! and i hope they do a movie based on the second book something blue. but yeah i will see this!

  6. 6

I loved the books Something Borrowed + Blue by Emily Griffin. This is definitely not the cast I imagined though. However I'm not gonna knock it until I see it.

  7. 7

It was a great book so I look forward to seeing it. Plus I love Ginnifer Goodwin and Kate Hudson.

  8. 8

    booooooooooooooooooooooo-ring

  9. 9

Emily Giffin is one of the best writers out there right now. Her books are amazing. The movies will be as well. I hope this one breaks a record for this type of film.

  10. 10

Oooo my favorite book!!! can't wait!!!!

  11. 11

oooh gawd are women really doing a giant leap backwards ….

  12. 12

another typical, predictable kate hudson romantic comedy movie…snooooooooze

  13. 13

    Looks soooo good. Great cast!

  14. 14

I didn't know they were making the book into a movie?! Emily Giffin is a great writer. I HAVE to see this! The book made me cry. So good

  15. 15

    love all her books!

  16. 16

After many years of watching Kate do one boring and ridiculous ROMCOM after another…I have had enough. I will be doing what I did for ALL her other snooze-fest movies lately…RENTING SOMETHING ELSE.

    JajaP OUT-

  17. 17

Dont you feel like you know the whole story now that you have watched the trailer? There wont be any surprises - but maybe thats the way it is supposed to be.

  18. 18

The book SUCKED and really pissed me off, so I doubt I'll go see this

  19. 19

Kate Hudson plays the same character over and over again. This is a redbox rental

  20. 20

kate sure is cute enough, and like the cast, but are there any worse movies than kate hudson rom coms? not a single straight guy would glipse at this drek unless under duress. here's an unwatchable list:
    alex & emma (14 mill) 11%
how to lose a guy in 10 days (104) 42%
    bride wars (58) 11%
    fools gold (70) 10%
you, me and dupree (75) 21%
(us box office, rotten tom critics approval percentage)
some profits yes, but with some garbage no doubt. kinda like 'the kardashians',

  21. 21

This actually looks good, I'm impressed. Think I'll check it out when it hits theatres.

  22. 22

Well I was planning on seeing this just for John Krasinski anyway, but this trailer actually does look good, so I'm excited!

  23. 23

    pleasantly surprised

  24. 24

I know nothing of the original novel, but from the trailer, it looks like this: the male lead is into the passive-aggressive ugly duckling, but is too cowardly to even ask, so he "settles" for Paris Hilton-lite. Years later, when he's about to get married, he decides that he actually likes to screw around, but once again, he doesn't have the courage to break it off and become single first; instead, with alcohol helping to cover up, he has the mercy fuck of that doormat's life, while the blond bimbo is punished for being a insensitive, pushy bitch. I don't know about what that Office guy is doing - being the token gay? What a clever, instant-classic rom-com!

  25. 25

I LOVED THE BOOKS ! but i hate that kate hudson is Darcy when i read the books i thought Rachel McAdams whould be perfect for darcy

  26. 26

reminds me of "the romantics"… but a bit more of a romcom and not just a drama…

  27. 27

these emily giffin books are my absolute favorite. hopefully the movies will do the books justice… i'm sure emily is all over that though!

The one guy (not the one from The Office) was in last year's Melrose Place remake. He played a head chef (aren't all 25 year old's head chefs? lol) and was decent enough at the role, but come on…it's Melrose Place - other than a make out session every episode, it's not like it's an acting stretch. Good to see someone from a failed TV series find work afterwards.

    Re: SassyFairy – WRONG!!!

  30. 30

Man, what a bitch. I had a "friend" that did that to me. Slapped the shit outta her later and dumped her as a friend. Girls, don't do that to each other. It's just wrong!!

  32. 32

    Re: 7tizz – Yeah I'm glad he's finding work, he's a hottie

  33. 33

Such a great book! Can't wait for this movie to come out!

  34. 34

The books are AWESOME…I love Emily Giffin!

  35. 35

I'm really excited about this movie! I am a fan of all of Emily Giffin's books. When I read the book way back in 2004, I could definitely see it becoming a movie & TA DA!! Here it is!! I hope the movie sticks to the book quite a bit. Can't wait!! :D

  36. 36

I have been WAITING for this movie to come out. Emily Giffin is an amazing writer. She definitely got me emotionally attached to these characters. I can't wait for them to come to life on-screen… Crossing my fingers for SOMETHING BLUE!!! :)

  37. 37

This was by far the best book I have ever read (as well as all of Emily Giffin's other books)! It has tons of surprises in it that keep things interesting. Definitely should be on everyone's summer watch list!

  38. 38

This one is based off an awesome book! I hope the movie stays close to the book.

  39. 39

You are going to LOVE IT!!! It is an increditable book, so much fun. I cannot wait!

  40. 40

You're not even going to mention that it's based off of a famous book?? Written by Emily Giffin??

  41. 41

I am so excited for this movie!! I LOVED the book! In fact, I've loved all of Emily's book! The trailer is amazing and I love the song at the end! I am counting down the days until May 6th!

  42. 42

I am soooo excited for this movie! I LOVE the book! In fact, I love all of Emily's books. She is a brilliant writer! I love the trailer! Counting down the days!

  43. 43

I read the book years ago and heard Hilary Swank bought the rights to the movie, I'm glad they actually made it! Its not a formulaic story, it really kept me guessing. There were a few books to follow, but this one was the best, by far. I can't wait to see if the movie is good, they cast Dex and Darcy very well judging by the trailer..

  44. 44

KH stinks! Looks like a typical chick flick; wouldn't waste my $$ on this.

  45. 45

I can't wait for this movie - I've always loved the book and I think that this could be the best role for Kate Hudson since Almost Famous (and not just because the character has the same name as me!)

Also, really thought it was awesome that they used the song "Fireflies" by Search/Rescue in the first half of the trailer - hope they have more Search/Rescue in the movie, too. Does anybody know the song at the end of the trailer, though? Loved that as well but can't find it.
