The Toys Are Back! First Images Released From Upcoming Toy Story Short Film
Toy Story 3 MAY have been the final feature film in the series, but we have definitely not seen the end of Woody, Buzz, and the gang.
We'll be seeing them at the Oscars, and we'll also see them in Hawaiian Vacation, a six minute Toy Story short to premiere before Cars 2 when it's released on June 24. The first images from the short have been released (above).
Here's what director Gary Rydstrom had to say about his short film:
'Woody becomes kind of like what's-his-name on Love Boat … Captain Stubing!”
Sounds like fun! We're glad that the Toy Story crew is sticking around, but not in more full length films.
After the powerful way that Toy Story 3 ended, we'd say short films are the right venue for these characters. Wouldn't want to ruin the integrity of the series by making more unnecessary sequels.

I LOVE BARBIE!
I'm defnitely excited. I've been a fan of the series for a long time and I was so thankful for the way Toy Story 3 ended. It's stupid because they're animated characters in a movie but I kind of grew up with them and it meant a lot to me to see that Pixar took care of them and found them a good home when Andy left for college. I sound like an idiot but some stories just get to you, you know?
i think they could do more TS movies
