I don't think it was that great.

  2. 2

I have a lot of respect for him. He covered the song really well.

  3. 3

i used to have the biggest crush on this guy. you kinda bigged up the performance, no? wasn't that good at all.

  4. 4

    He is seriously amazing.

  5. 5

I love him i hope he does well as a solo artist! He better get nominated for a Grammy next year. BTW, where is his purity ring??!?!?!? NOOOOOOOO!

  6. 6

He sounds better singing this than any of that Jonas shit. Nowhere near great though…

  7. 7

I just think it's nuts that the world and our country is falling apart but they still party at the White House. SMH.

  8. 8

Thank goodness Nick didn't get canceled by Obama, being a little busy with Libya imploding and thousands being slaughtered, in a civil war. Phew!
    Thank you, President Obama.
America and the World has you as their, Dear Leader.

Re: luvs2tango – Really bad bait and switch, tango, and that surprises me coming out of your intellect. AS IF Obama is responsible for Libya. Yes, all life should cease everywhere else on the planet because Libaya's people finally want a true democracy after decades under Ghaddaf and his oil rich elite minions.
Great old song, even better and soulful job by Nick singing it, even if the vid sounds like a tiny transistor radio with no punching bottom end.

  10. 10

he is soo talented! go nick!

  11. 11

Nick Jonas did a fantastic job. Especially with a voice and vocal range that he has; it can be hard to sing soul music.

  12. 12

    Re: @v@
    Still defending Obama?
That even surprises me, given your intellect.
Wisconsin and the Middle East shows what he is.
    A Community Organizer.

  13. 13

Re: luvs2tango – Hey come on now, give ol' Barry a break. Community organizing comes in handy! Like when it comes to keeping track of your birth certificate, lining up your smokes, organizing the country's money in order to more effectively increase debt, and let's not forget putting together all those expensive family vacations. These are useful skills to have, you know!

  14. 14

While I wasn't overwhelmed by this performance, I still liked it a lot! This is the reason why I love Nick - he is classy, understated, and respected by his community. Also, he has loads of talent and pursues his dreams.

  15. 15

Im sorry but his voice and looks do nothing for me. Not impressed.

Re: luvs2tango – It's a Motown salute. Focus. You should know what happens when you bring up everything and the kitchen sink into an unrelated discussion. Besides, I don't defend. Either side. I observe carefully.
    Rah rah-ing is just that.

  17. 17

He's real cute and Id do him and his bros all at once but that performance sucked! What a joke… don't fuck with the original version (which is perfect) unless you can do better.

  18. 18

Re: Biebers #1 Fan – Well, you're a Bieber fan, so I'm not surprised. When someone as talented as Nick shows how shit Bieber is, you get all defensive. Ha!
Loved the performance! This guy is versatile! He can sing ANYTHING ;D

  19. 19

aww so proud of him! he's so nice.

  20. 20

He's over…..bye bye Nick, the ONLY reason he's there is because of Obamas' daughters

  21. 21

Not really that good. It was like a mediocre karaoke performance. It's too bad that fame trumps talent nowadays.

  22. 22

his voice is moving from teen to adulthood well and it looks like he has some talent and will mature and continue to develop into a vocal talent that will be arond for a while

and the performance without lipsyncing or autotune assistance is really refreshing isn't it!

  23. 23

Re: TRUTH-TELLER – He wears his purity ring on his dog tag, he has for ages dont worry haha and he did do really well :)

  24. 24

Thank goodness our president had time to watch Nick Jonas and the other perform. It's just a shame that he couldn't be bothered with the four Americans who were slaughtered at the hands of the Somalian pirates.

  25. 25

damn he was aoo good! loved the end, and he is 100% better then his brothers

  26. 26

Nick did really well with this.
I think it was the back up singers that kinda made it seem not quite as good as it could be.
But I think Nick does have a good "soul" voice. :]

  27. 27

He should be cast in Jersey Boys!

  28. 28

    Re: @v@
    It's Motown. Focus?
A real president would be working all hours of the night.
When it's nightime here, it's daytime in the hotspots of the world.
Instead, they party like rockstars who like to impress others of their ilk.
"Hey man, cut the brother some slack!
Quittin' time is 5PM. Union rules!" — says @v@, and the other little Marxists
I can't even imagine Laura and Dubya doing this at this moment. If he were still POTUS, you'd be banging a different drum beat.
Libya, Egypt, Afghan draw-down issues on front burner and late exit of our Embassy personnel. Just pretend this was Katrina.
Basketball fill-in referee, before Libya comments to the sycophant media. Priorities, of course.
Countries are igniting, and he fiddles to Motown!
And you shill for him still, after seeing all this go down?
You are exactly why America is in trouble.

  29. 29

The Marxists in Congress are deliberately making us buy foreign oil to 'fund' all the anti-American activities in the world.
If we had continued to expand our construction of nuclear power plants, a new oil refinery here and there and expand our drilling for oil IN the USA; the Middle East would not be a problem at all.
Most of our problems were made for us by LBJ, Carter, Clinton & Obama, period.
Without their collective, massive legislation to push Marxism, we'd be as prosperous as we were in the 1950s.
The Dems, hate to hear the speeches, Rush Limbaugh plays, of JFK telling the nation, how 'tax cuts' are the BEST medicine there is for our economy!
Ronaldus MAGNUS Reagan wanted to remove the current ELEVEN IRS tax brackets to just THREE: 15% - 25% - 35%.
A simplistic tax formula that would remove thousands of pages of IRS regs that drive people insane trying to figure out what they owe each tax season.
Obama told us straight out during his campaign that he wanted to raise energy costs 'astronomically'.
With gas and oil prices quadrupling, all those subsidized 'green' energy sources become 'competitive'.
Hell, if gas is $10 a gallon it'll be cheaper to run your Volt on.
    But I digress. Sorry.
Hey, how about that Smokey Robinson?
Even Stevie Wonder could see what's happening to this country.

  30. 30

gawd that was bad…i wonder when this guy will wake up and realize he just dont have "it"

  31. 31

Re: luvs2tango – You do not know the first thing about what is going on in Wisconsin. Walker even stated in the tape in which he got "punked" that Obama was not involved. Why don't you drink some more of the Koch brother's kool-aid, and kiss their asses as much as Walker did. Perhaps you can do one of your tricks for them? Roll over and play dead? I heard that is their favorite.

  32. 32

Re: luvs2tango – Bush worked really hard, didn't he? He took more vacations on his ranch than any other President in office. Please do some research and try again. You read like a fool!

Re: luvs2tango – I don't schill for him, ad hominem name caller. Marxist? WTF. I like anything Motown. You think you are world police. America doesn't have the money to take care of its own. BTW, did you ever ponder that all these dictators falling is happening according to someone's plan? Maybe they're on it. My guess is that they are.

Re: luvs2tango – You said 'America and the World has you as their, Dear Leader.' He's the President of the United States. He's not the 'world's leader.' Puffed up delusion. The Commonwealth alone is comprised of 2 Billion people, dear. Go back to your wine, and take your little dog with you.

  35. 35

    forgot about him for awhile
    so much hotter than biebz!

  36. 36

Nick did AMAZING!!! What an honor to be asked to perform at the White House. I absolutely loved it and he seemed really excited to be there! GREAT JOB, NICK!!! :)

I totally agree with you, Re: sayhellotogoodbye – about Re: Biebers #1 Fan – - I am not impressed with Bieb's looks or voice. Bieber's #1 Fan, if you really hate the JoBros, then why are you even on the Jonas Brothers' Perez page? Back off!!!!! JB rocks ;)
