Charlie Says He'll Still Show Up For Work, Even Though Two And A Half Men Is Done

| Filed under: TV NewsWacky, Tacky & TrueCharlie Sheen

charlie sheen will return to his nonexistent work

And why wouldn't he? The Warner Bros lot is very nice. He can go for a Monday morning stroll, but he's certainly not going to be doing any work.

Despite the fact that Two and a Half Men has been shut down for the season and almost definitely forever, Charlie Sheen told Good Morning America that he'll still show up for work.

Our first instinct would be to say that this is pret-ty crazy, but who knows? Maybe it could be a blessing in disguise!

Here are some of our thoughts on positive things that could happen if Charlie returns to his nonexistent work on Monday:

- It'll finally hit him that Two and a Half Men is done, and so are those paychecks

- He'll stumble onto another set, and land an impromptu guest appearance/paycheck for another show

- He'll gather his own crew, shoot an unauthorized episode of Two and a Half Men, and leak it onto the Internet

- All of the Above

All jokes aside, don't try to return to work, Charlie. That bridge is burnt, and that ship has sailed. Time to move on.

He won't make it through the gate.

  2. 2

I bet Mel Gibson is reading about this at home with a sigh of relief, then exclaiming, "FINALLY! Someone who's a bigger douche bag than me!"

  3. 3

HE IS TURNING INTO AN OLD FOOL…..

  4. 4

The guy really needs help before he dies!

  5. 5

CHARLIE THE HASBEEN ,I HOPE YOU LOSE ACCESS TO ALL YOUR CHILDREN.YOU ARE SERIOUSLY BRAIN DAMAGED.BORDERLINE INSANE…YOU ARE TOAST..GOODBYE.YOU WILL NOT BE MISSED..

  6. 6

What about the other 1 and a 1/2 men? they should sue Charlie for screwing them over!

  7. 7

5150 him before he kills someone. He won't kill himself since he's such a narcissist.

  8. 8

It just dawned on that coke and hookers cost MONEY.

  9. 9

You can tell he's coked out of his mind if he needs something to do that badly!! Google Search keywords "The Media Jerk" to read Heartless criticism of the day's biggest celebrity news stories!!

  10. 10

The cocaine and hookers are in charge of Charlie Sheen right now. He will make shit tons of money off the residuals from his show - so what does he care if they cancel it? He is the picture of gluttony; cancer does not give you a buzz - he does not have a disease! I think he would be the 1st one to tell you he is having a ball.

  11. 11

    C. Sheen is ego-constipated.

  12. 12

    Re: Novel1 – lol

  13. 13

Daddy needs to intervene, get his ass psyched tested and take control of his money. Trust me, if the money ain't flowin' the chicks will fly the coop and the cocaine suppliers will find somebody else.

It (sorta) worked for Britney, and Martin Sheen cares more about his son than he does about his kid's paycheck. Right now Charlie needs a short leash, and his family are the only people that can do that for him.

  14. 14

He's talking out of his butt right now. The poor guy is manic and has severe addictions. The show could be saved (maybe? possibly?) when he is officially deemed incompetent. A 5150 is in his future.

  15. 15

Haters keep on hatin….. Y'all sound mad because his addiction is padded by all his dough. Why shouldn't he get to kill himself with coke and booze….everyone is going to die, he just gets to have more fun, and people like us, just get cancer. As far as his kids go, it's not like he's the only absent dad in America-at least his kids get child support.

  16. 16

Re: artichigh – wow! i never thought of it that way. your a genius. NOT!! what a stupid comment. heaven forbid he try to do something good with his money or be a responsible parent.

  17. 17

He needs to keep showing up! His attorneys are very smart. He has to be where he is contractually obligated to be so he can sue them and they can't say he was incapable of showing up for work. He pays them a LOT of money to be smart - since he can't be.

  18. 18

He is just upholding his contract. If he shows up to work, they have to pay out his contract. It's not his problem if they aren't there. Ha.

  19. 19

I'm just happy that someone finally smartened up and stopped handing this douche a paycheck.

  20. 20

There are so many people unemployed now who are just trying to get through week to week on a few hundred dollars unemployment and this guy has everything handed to him. He took it for granted, thought he was more entitled and above it al and not grateful. I hope he gets help for his problems, but at the same time I hope he keeps losing out on work so he sees what it's like for the rest of us in the real world.

If I was his lawyer I'd tell him to show up to work, it will make his case a lot better when he sues for wrongful termination. While it almost definitely won't get the show back on the air it will most likely get him a very lucrative severance package. The rest of the cast and the crew will all still get paid… you can't just repudiate an employment contract without notice or remedy.. I'm not sure if the studio will be able to go after Charlie or not but I highly doubt it based on the fact that the health and wellness was obviously a condition and he is willing to work.

    22

Then won't even allow him onto the CBS lot!! I'm sure there is more security JUST waiting for Charlie Sheen to show up! Hopefully he gets arrested for trespassing!☺

  23. 23

Re: mac14 – He wasn't terminated. The show was canceled for the rest of the season. Everyone including the cast and crew are out of a job (which sucks). He can't sue for shit. CBS can cancel a show they own if they want. Sheen has no more right to sue than any cast or crew member. His lawyers will never be able to actually win any suit against CBS or the producers. The lawyers for CBS are certainly smarter than Sheen's. I'm sure Sheen will sue anyway.

  24. 24

Stick to drawing smiley faces on private parts, Mario. You or your interns dishing out career advice to Charlie Sheen is ridiculous. Seriously. You're getting really old and losing influence because your minions are leaving puberty about now.

  25. 25

He could also show up with a gun. Too many people are laughing at this situation. The man is volatile yet he feels he's just fine. It's a scary situation.

  26. 26

What happened to the "I wouldn't go back if they begged me" non sense???

  27. 27

Re: LisaRose – thanks for making a very important point……..this could spiral out of control….he is mentally unhinged right now…….no joke..

  28. 28

This kook and Lindsay must be on the same drugs. They are both so delusional. Living in a world all by themselves. If he keeps up this kind of living with the pills and the booze and the party time he won't live to much longer. We will be hearing about him again real soon.

  29. 29

Re: adg100 – ROFL … AMEN!!!! Perez, please just pack it in and move on. The world would be a much better place without your annoying, moralizing, self-righteous hypocrisy.

  30. 30

    My money's on options 2 and 3.

  31. 31

Seriously though, why does it matter to any of us what Charlie Sheen does in his private life? Are you his friends, his family, are you personally affected by his choices? And I wasn't trying to be clever (AttFinch-ooohh now thats genius) just pointing out that we are not the moral police….

  32. 32

    Re: artichigh

You start publicly badmouthing your "boss" and expect to keep your job? It wasn't his personal life that got him most likely fired. It was his public life.

  33. 33

He's going to show up even though no one wants him there? Isn't that called 'STALKING'?

  34. 34

Has anyone ever heard of the Constitution of the United States of America?

Charlie has done nothing but exercise his right to free speech.

And anyway, what if he does choose to through his life, or any part of ,it, in the crapper.

It’s his to do whatever he wants to do with it.

On the other hand I think what he is doing is a real good version of Charles Bukowski.

One of the greatest writers ever….

    Go Charlie!

  35. 35

He is such a stupid POS! At least we can blame Lindsay's problems on her age and those cretin for parents she's stuck with but Charlie "I'm A Winner" Sheen is nothing more than a pathetic OLD MAN who purports to be so intelligent yet doesn't understand something simple the simple concept of "employer" and "employee". That and his claiming he can use crack socially pretty much seals his dreary fate for him. Bye Charlie. See you in the obits and hopefully, no longer in my entertainment pages!!

  36. 36

Re: LisaRose – Good point. I forgot to even think about just how volatile and unstable he really is. If he can abuse as many women as he has with no fear of repercussion, how long till he takes that misguided anger out in a negative, potentially harmful manner? Scary….

  37. 37

Re: SwisKris – No one wants to deny Charlie a good time. He just needs to stop publicly complaining about what's going on in his life. If he didn't want to get fired and have the show shut down, he shouldn't have bad-mouthed his employer. Consequences for bad actions…Simple as that.
