And The Razzie Goes To…

Congrats On Your Razzie Mr Shyamalan

As you all know, last night was the Academy Awards. Beautiful dresses, masters of the craft, nothing is held back to make sure the best movies of the year are recognized.

As you all SHOULD know, the night before the Oscars were the Razzies, the awards for the worst movies of the year!

We're pretty sure that nobody showed up to accept these.

Check out the full list of "winners"…. after the jump!

Worst Picture Of The Year:
The Last Airbender

Worst Actor:
Ashton Kutcher for both Killers and Valentine's Day

Worst Actress:
Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis, & Cynthia Nixon for Sex and the City #2

Worst Supporting Actor:
Jackson Rathbone for The Last Airbender and Twilight Saga: Eclipse

Worst Supporting Actress:
Jessica Alba for The Killer Inside Me, Little Fockers, Machete and Valentine’s Day

Worst Eye-Gouging Mis-Use of 3-D:
The Last Airbender

Worst Screen Ensemble/Couple:
The entire cast of Sex and the City #2

Worst Director:
M. Night Shyamalan for The Last Airbender

Worst Screenplay:
M. Night Shyamalan for The Last Airbender

Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel:
Sex and the City #2

So there they are in all their glory!

Looks like Airbender swept it this year, with Sex and the City #2 as a close runner up!

Here's a little bit about the Razzies if you didn't already know:

The RAZZIES were created in 1980 as a logical antidote to Tinsel Town’s annual glut of self-congratulatory awards by John Wilson, author of The Official Razzie Movie Guide and Everything I Know I Learned at the Movies. “Winners” were determined by mailing ballots to 637 voters in 46 U.S. states and 17 foreign countries.

Another inneresting little tidbit is that last year's best actress winner Sandra Bullock also won the Razzie for worst actress (Blindside v. All About Steve)!

To all the nominees that didn't win (lose?) this year: there's always next year! Good luck!

LOLz!

So, do U agree with those chosen for this year's Razzies??

I loved THE LAST AIRBENDER - written, Directed, and produced by M. Knight Shyamalan. . I thought it was a good movie, good story, awesome special fx, great fight sequences. I was hoping they would make a part 2.
I loved Jackson Rathbone in it - he's super hot ( he was in the Twilight movies ). I LOVE THIS MOVIE !!!!!! PLEASE MAKE A SEQUEL !!!!!

I hate the Razzies. It's more who is the most "overrated" actor/actress than terrible. The Razzie for worst award show goes to the Razzies.

I LIKED THE LAST AIR BENDER.

As predicted Last Air Bender would do a clean sweep!
seriously, when you make your movie entirely of exposition, something is terribly wrong.

Good! I HATED the Last Air Bender, anyone who says they liked it obviously didn't see the cartoon series. M. Knight Shitsalot completely ruined it, from the graphics to the half assed way he did the storyline and completely chopped it up. I felt like I was watching 'Last time on Avatar the Last Airbender' for the entire movie. The charactirization was extremely POOR. It had no substance and I really felt like they added in the 3D thing as an after thought just to go along with the craze. It was poorly done, so much so that it still to this day gets me riled up thinking about it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERIES SHITSLOT. No sequel from you. I'd be more open to it if they got another director and different actors. Maybe people who can actually ACT this time. Pft, hate this guy. What a joke.

The Last Airbender should've won all the awards. Shamalama butchered an amazing cartoon

Some of those are spot on. Oh, well at least they are all good sports about it.

Next year, Rihanna will win for her role in Battleship, guaranteed.
