The Oscars Gets Auto-Tuned!

Because last night was supposed to the rising of a "funner", "hipper", "cooler" Academy Awards, the producers put together this little ditty to snag the attention of the younger demographic.

It was a HIGHlight of the night for us, but that really isn't saying that much!

Check out this "musical" tribute to some of the biggest box-office hits this year! (above)

Gosh, auto-tune just makes everything better doesn't it?!

It didn't seem like the audience "got it" last night and that made me laugh more than the skit. I was cringing so bad when it started, but I did chuckle at the Twilight one.

This was one of the most embarrasing parts of the show. When i saw that twilight clip, i almost threw up!
The writers for the show should NEVER be hired to work on a show again. EVerything was super cheesy and dumbed down, just like they wanted. Go figure some of "these" readers found it funny. Makes good conversation for kids I guess…

I was entertained. I was so excited to see the Harry Potter bit, but I don't know why Seacrest was teasing it as a Twilight thing, when that part was so stupid.
And yeah, the show overall was lame, so I enjoyed this all the more.
