The Bourne franchise is getting a new badass.
Universal Studios reportedly is looking to replace Matt Damon as Jason Bourne with someone a bit younger.
Do we think that is a smart move? No, not really. Especially since we're sure that Matt is more than game to do at least two more films.
Do we like some of the choices they've got lined up for the role regardless of the fact that they are replacing Matt? Yeah, we really, really do!
The studio's already compiled a bunch of potential candidates together, all actors in their late 20s to early 30s. Topping that list is Shia LaBeouf, a solid choice considering his background in action flicks and his love of franchises.
Some other hotties in the running? Let's see, we've got Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, Garrett Hedlund, Taylor Kitsch and Kellan Lutz.
All great choices. Personally, we'd like to see Matt come back and do one more flick, maybe training one of these youngin's to take his place. Then, one of these studs can take over. Our, um, gut is leaning towards Garrett!
What about U? Who do U think should step into the identity of Bourne?
