Daughter To Father: Lindsay Is Done With You, Michael
You broke your promise and it's the final straw.
Lindsay Lohan has released an official statement publicly condemning her father's behavior and opinions shared in the press. Though it seemed Lindsay was starting to find some common ground with Michael Lohan following her release from rehab, the last few weeks have proven to her that her father hasn't changed and is still out to use her fame to his own advantage.
In her statement, she makes it clear that she doesn't approve of the way her father is dealing with the press or with their family. She says:
"I am sorry that my father has continually chosen to speak publicly about our relationship, my mother, my siblings, and my professional team. I am working through my recovery day-by-day and find his public media bouts unnecessary and damaging."
Bravo, Lindsay! We couldn't have said it better ourselves. The way he parades your business in the media is toxic and you don't need that in your life right now. You need to focus on having more positive and non-threatening influences in your life. We want that so much for you.
And as for you, Michael - if you don't feel ashamed of yourself, you should. You gave us your word you were through clinging on to the coattails of your daughter's fame for attention and you broke that promise. We hope you put in a lot of hours with a therapist while on Celebrity Rehab. You really need to sort yourself out.

Here's an idea… why don't you stop buying photos of him and not use any of his quotes from interviews.
