Rodney King just can't catch a break.

He was pulled over by police on Wednesday, just one day before the 20th anniversary of his infamous beating that was caught on tape.

Police in Arcadia, Calif. received a complaint when King was spotted driving recklessly in a green Mistubishi. Cops pulled him over and cited him for driving with an expired license. He was then released from the scene.

King reportedly called a friend to drive him home.

Wow. We really can't believe the irony with this guy. Although, with his troubled past, we do kinda feel for him.

Thoughts??

he was driving erratically without a license —- had he hit a person or somebody's pet, would you still feel so bad for him mario? I feel bad that the good lord didn't give you more brain cells………….

  2. 2

I don't feel for him at all. What happened 20 years ago happened 20 years ago; it's long since over. If he was driving recklessly and didn't have a license, he was lucky to just get cited.

He brings everything on himself, can't feel sorry for the idiot.

That's not irony. It's coincidence. I thought you went to 9th grade English?

Oh jeebus people! He made an illegal lane change and some person got their panties in a bunch, called the police and viola! A patrol car that was around the corner pulled him over. In these parts people drive like shit every moment of the day. He'll, the person that called the cops probably cut a car of 30 seconds earlier. He was cited.and his car impounded,,so he called a friend for a ride. Stop making it out like its a far bigger deal than it really is.

Why do people who have something to hide drive in such a way to get noticed? I sure as hell would be driving as carefully as possible if my license was expired.

  7. 7

I watched him on Celeb Rehab and he was trying really hard to get his shit together. I really hope he does.

  8. 8

No, I don't feel for him.
    .
He drove erratically and had an expired drivers' license.
This guy is a loser all the way around. He shouldn't have been beaten, but he's a loser nonetheless.

  9. 9

why doesn't he use some of the $8,000,000.00 he was awarded by a guilt ridden white jury and buy himself a driver?

  10. 10

This guy should be locked up and throw away the key.
He's had chance after chance after chance to get his act together, Dr Drew Tv….etc, etc….but he can't quit the CRACK PIPE. LOCK HIM UP! To maintain public safety.

  11. 11

Are you SERIOUS? Reckless driving without a valid license, and you feel SORRY for him? He's lucky they didn't haul his butt to jail… probably let him go because of who he is — didn't want to cause any "trouble."

  12. 12

you feel sorry for him because he was driving recklessly and could have killed someone ???? Are you and idiot?

  13. 13

mario\perez u are a filho da p*** de um racista, im gonna stop watching ur stupid site and warn as much ppl i can, gordo otário racista de m*****

  14. 14

I just can't believe it's been 20 years already! Wow.

  15. 15

I really feel sorry for the Cops–having to deal with horrible people

  16. 16

Past history doesn't excuse crappy driving or driving with an expired license - we would all be in equal trouble for those kinds of things….

  17. 17

I agree with J.no's comment in that he just got caught doing something that a lot of people do on a daily basis. I used to work in Arcadia, CA and there are cops everywhere (it's a posh city where the police have nothing to do except cite bad L.A. drivers).

The roads in Arcadia are confusing (some lanes aren't delineated) and a lot of folks make illegal turns through intersections all the time because of that - particularly around the Santa Anita Racetrack.

You feel for him Perez? Wow… I've been reading your website for years and for the first time ever, I don't think I want to continue.
He was a piece of shit then when he got beat (he was on PCP, did the news say that? of course not, and we only get to see the officers beating him, but the video doesn't show before, when he was challenging them and being extremely combative), and he is still a piece of shit now.
    I don't feel sorry…..

  19. 19

If you're going to drive on a suspended license, follow the rules of the road. I mean really, use your brain.

Rodney's still going to get tickets like everyone else. Follow the rules of the road.
