Farrakhan Still Not A Fan Of Rihanna

Nor do we see that opinion changing anytime soon.

You'll recall that earlier in the week, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan made some really vile comments about Rihanna and her fans, particularly one sin the LGBT community.

The minster continued spewing his nonsense during his annual Savior's Day speech, bringing up RiRi's performance at the Grammys last weekend. He said:

"I saw my beautiful sister the other night at the Grammy awards. Rihanna. My poor sister, she’s dressed almost like -with a pair of draws. And she got her legs wide open and just grinding away."

We could make a comment here, but it comes off so much better coming from Rihanna herself.

In response to the ill-spirited minister, RiRi tweeted the following message to the Minister, saying:

"A minister says I perform filthy, sat + watched the filth, then called u SWINE for doin the same! Haa, Is that judgment in ur tone? I certainly don't think u are swine! But a holy man of God does!!!"

Yeah! What now, Minister Farrakhan?! What do you have to say now?!

Apparently just this:

"He would never say such about Rihanna herself, the person," a direct representative for Minister Louis Farrakhan told souses. "It was not the person, it was the general act and what it represents."

Uh-huh. Sure. We're buying that.

Back-peddle! Back-peddle! Back-peddle!

Her act, as well as many other top female pop performers have gotten a bit over the top sexually speaking. Oh I'm sure people are "enjoying" the acts, but where IS the line between artistic creativity and just plain vulgarity? I'm finding myself more and more enjoying the artistic creativity of Janelle Monae and Adele–they don't HAVE to sell their bodies and sex to sell their music. COMPLETELY REFRESHING.

The RIRIdiculous puppet should just put out porn musicals and call it a day.

  3. 3

Who writes this shit? It's back PEDAL (like a bike) Does anyone proof the articles or do you just steal it, copy it and paste it?

    Re: Queen mab

I agree with you. Most of them can't really sing very well anyway. Not to suggest that I like Fairykham.

  5. 5

its surprising because rihanna is equally sexualized as other celebrity women. i wonder why he chose to target her.

  6. 6

Why bother going to a strip club when you can watch Rihanna grinding herself away on stage? Can somebody just hump her already? She looks like she's in heat every time she performs! LOL!

  7. 7

Fuck Louis Farrakhan ! He's another fine example of the psychotic Mullism culture !

  8. 8

Re: Queen mab – very well said.
It's not even about the music anymore. I have to agree that todays celebrities are over sexualized.

Re: pradagirl7 – LOL in heat

  11. 11

yeah its realli not about the music anymore. obviously or rihanna wouldnt be selling records(have u heard her voice live), sorry but the only reason she does sell is because she oversex and oversells her self and its sad because a lot of younger girls look up to her… i love how rihanna doesnt even defend herself she knows shes filth LMAO. im not a hater im just stating the truth rihanna would do great as like a playboy model or stripper u know

  12. 12

    Back PEDAL.

Perez Hilton is the Homer Simpson of the internet.

  13. 13

If it walks like a slut, sings like a slut and grinds like a slut, then it's a SLUT!
btw she can't even sing. Take the sex out of her lyrics and dance and there is zero talent. Oh, and the bright red Ronald McDonald hair is laughable to say the least!

  14. 14

that's "pedal" not "peddle" as in sell. ESL. Winning!

  15. 15

So what's the point here, that everyone has to like her and that people can't have opinions?

  16. 16

It's true, though. All she ever sings about is sex. And when his rep says "what she represents" they're probably also talking about her worshipping the Devil. It's sad how the most famous women artists to this date go strutting about wearing nothing but a tiny piece of material, if that.

  17. 17

Farrakhan is an ass, but, he's right about this.

America, culturally, has become a nation of sluts, whores and bimbos.

Two and a half men is a wildly popular show on TV. Really?

Yeah. It's about a whore hound, his whores and his whoring around.

Love it or hate it. This is the road the country has gone down.

  18. 18

Well obviously it's true that women who can't sing live rely on whoring it up on stage and in video's.
But Rihanna should've went off off that racist trouble making douche Farrakhunt.
Her reply was to tell him what another "man of God" said about him?? Who gives a fuck what that other retard said?
Believing in "God" and following a religion is the worst thing to happen to man kind.
Judging these girls because they dance sexy, judging gays, honor killings (and lots of oil, acid and boiling water thrown in women's faces), death and torture all over the world. All in the name of this non existent "God". Sickening.
    SO fucking stupid and ignorant.
And fuck Farrakhunt. Nut case ass hole.

  19. 19

You guys must not go to clubs… how she danced on stage is PG. Welcome to the 21st century. I'm surprised you survived this far.

  20. 20

    I agree with him %100!

  21. 21

    It's PEDAL you moron…

  22. 22

    This is soooooo old Perez….

  23. 23

I do not think Rhiana is smart or intelligent enough to respond to Farrakhan if in fact he did make that statement, she should just leave that one along. He is very smart and he will cut her down with all the antics he could use against her.

Besides no one buys your music if you are revealing your body, just look at kelly clarkson and some of the other truely talented artists

  24. 24

She is very beautiful, but that`s all. No class, no charm at all, no sexappeal, seems like a very rude person (the medallion "F.ck you" when she met her children fans). Repulsive and somehow even evil . Her music is nothing special or original as well.

    25

I just disagree. I like her and who cares what she does? In my eyes her style has always been risque at times, now just a bit more so. Why the sudden backlash? If she feels it's something that defines herself as an artist then so be it. Farrakhan is clearly speaking from a distorted viewpoint and seems to have unfairly targeted her. What Rihanna does is nothing new whatsoever and you have a choice to ignore it if you don't like it or enjoy if you do. She's young and probably still exploring different sides of herself.

    26

It's back pedal. You peddle your wares.

    27

He shouldn't judge publicly, and she could do to clean up her act a bit.

  28. 28

Eh..I don't why he's singling her out. It's not like she's doing anything no else is doing or has done before, and trust me, there's been a lot worse than her. People who are calling her filthy or pornographic obviously have never seen porn.

Re: – cause the miserable bastard has a boner for her. probably jerking off whie watching her

  30. 30

Re: DanielDax – I don't really think he's singling her out, I think she just served as an example, but still Rihanna really is one of the most oversexed artists the lyrics of her songs are all about sex, her dancing and her outfits are only "sex"… The only other artist who comes close to this oversexedness is Christina Aguilera; Britney, Beyoncé and even Gaga really look tame compared to them.

  31. 31

I'm with Farrakhan on this one. I mean the Grammy's is a family show and I'm sick of these pop stars (all of them not just her) looking slutty and ridiculous (yeah I'm talking about you lady gaga in the meat dress) to cover up for lack of talent and shitty music. Its gotten to the point where I don't watch anything pertaining to music anymore bc they will kill it with the visual.
Put some clothes on a idk pick up an instrument. Be more dedicated to your craft and less dedicated to your leotard.

  32. 32

Well, we all have opinions…magic word, OPINION; but does any of those artist really care? I know I could give a flying flip if anyone, including the great F gave his opinion on what I was wearing or the movements that I make. The onstage 'grinding' has become acceptable since it has never been censored after all of these years.
