Xtina & Record Label Sued!

Drama! Drama! Drama! Girl steps in it no matter where she goes these days!

Sources report that Christina Aguilera is being sued along with record label, Sony, for sampling another song in her track, Ain't No Other Man.

Um, aren't you guys a little 2000-and-late on this???

Regardless, TufAmerica owns the rights to Moon People’s 1968 cut Hippy Skippy Moon Strut, the song they claim Xtina sampled on her track. Apparently, Sony was under the impression that another company owned the rights to the song and cleared it with them back in 2006. But they seem to have been mistaken, so now TufAmerica wants some restitutions.

Do your thang, honey! If your owed money, get paid!

Meanwhile, we just can't imagine how things could get any worse for Xtina!

For the love of God Perez, LEARN TO SPELL
    *If YOU'RE owed money….not your.

God Perez you're an asshole. Posting shit about a 5 year old song yet fail to ever even mention that GaGa's Born this Way was torn to shreds by every media outlet for being a rip off of Madonna's Express Yourself. Why all the constant hate for Christina, one of the only truly great female voices left in the business. GaGa admits to doing coke and she's "amazaballs" yet Christina has a few drinks during a dark point in her life and there's constant posts about how she needs rehab? Hypocritical ASSHOLE

I just want to correct another one of Perez's, or his ignorant sister's mistakes in this post. Christina Aguilera, herself, is NOT being sued. The litigation will involve her record label, and those responsible for purchasing the rights to the sampled song. So again, Christina Aguilera is NOT being sued. Of course, Perez cannot let go of his campaign to destroy her career, and I'm sure the mistake made in this post, will not be corrected.

How ironic is it that you say "2000 and late" when this has been in the news for weeks now?

    Also, it's "you're." Dumbass.

I'm glad this classless Flop has had all her nastiness come back to haunt her.

So it looks like Burlesque is doing very well with rentals and dvd sales.. i went to 3 different stores and they were sold out . but of course Tracy Turnblad i mean Perez has not said anything about it.. that would mean he has to say something nice. do people like you/Media ever wonder if its all the name calling and hurtful things you say about people , if that's what leads them to start drinking or doing drugs. you looked really sincere when you made your no bully video.. i guess that look on your face was from the girdle you wear

Re: LittleBroAdam – Exactly. Perez (or whomever wrote this entry) clearly glossed over a bunch of facts so that he could make this about Christina. He may have stopped using the aggressive terminology he once used for posts about her, but he's still clearly the fuming-angry middle school BFF to Lady Gaga when it comes to Christina. Whether or not she dislikes Lady Gaga and meant to insult her in her interviews that sent Perez over the edge is hard to answer, since none of us were there for the actual interview. Regardless, Perez has been hellbent on getting revenge on her ever since. I repeat to anyone who has been turned-off of her Bionic album by Perez's uninformed and biased criticism: go buy the deluxe edition CD as SOON as you can. All the songs are stellar in their own way, and the style is completely different from Lady Gaga. Electronic pop music was not started by Lady Gaga, and Christina and her producers took it in a different direction than Gaga, anyway. The deluxe edition bonus tracks are generally considered by the fans to be far better than the rest of the material on the album, and I think that her album could have fared MUCH better if she had released "Monday Morning" or "Bobblehead" as the first single.

    Christina Aquilera is not sued.
"…Sony Music hasn't paid the rightful owner for the sample."
"…Aquilera is not named as a defendant in the suit"
Honestly Perez, stick to the facts!

-SHE IS NOT GETTING SUED, label is, for fucking up who owned the publishing.
-This person is coming forward what, FIVE YEARS later?
-Direct from the CD booklet from Christina Aguilera's 2006 Back to Basics 2 disc album under the lyrics for the song Ain't No Other Man: "contains a sample from "Hippy Skippy Moon Strut" written by Harold Beatty as performed by Moon People published by Iza Music Corp (adm by The Clyde Otis Music Group Inc BMI under license from Argon Productions.
-she gave credit for the sample & paid for it. This is the labels mistake, Christina is not being sued. This is the labels fault, it is their issue, which is why Christina is not being sued.

Re: sohaveiforyou83 – I agree. & the kicker is, Christina has said so many nice things about Gaga in a HANDFUL of interviews, she did not diss Gaga, but before it was media like Perez who took her comments out of context in 2008 at a time before Gaga was famous, when gaga said Christina's performance "bared a resemblence" to her on the 08 mtv awards, & Christina's reply was she didn't know who that was that she was being compared to & asked if it was a guy, a girl, & who they were. Not only did Christina say a lot of nice things about Gaga whenever she was asked in many interviews she even posted on her website that there is room for everyone on our ipods, she always stated respect for Gaga but during Perez's xtina smear campaign, Gaga did not say ONE WORD about it & you know damn well she knew what was going on. If gaga fans even took the time to see all the interviews were Christina was asked about gaga & the nice things she said, they would see they have no reason to hate Xtina.

  14. 14

Re: LittleBroAdam – PIGass HOLEton is not tough enough to destroy someone's career, especially XTINA's

  15. 15

Wow Perez, get your facts straight. For starters, you need to fix this story. You're such a bully and a dick. Christina is not being sued. Do the honorable thing and fix your story. Then, re-evaluate the shit you say. Seriously. Where do you get off constantly trying to beat Christina down? Are you so jealous? Someday, I hope she sues your ass for slander. Douche.

  16. 16

YOU'RE a dickwad Perez! She is not being sued. Get your facts right. Shame on you, you call YOURSELF a jounalist….YOU'RE a shitty blogger who bullys people behind your computer screen. I guess you want to be on her tour or want her to pay you like Britney. This is really a pattern that we have all seen before. You did exactly the same to Britney and then started lovig her when she involoved you in her tour. Karma is a bitch and your time is up!

  17. 17

Isn't this song a little hmm… 5 FUCKING YEARS OLD?!

  18. 18

The lawsuit is between TufAmerica and Sony, it is NOT Christina Aguilera being sued personally over this.
Perez you should be sued for defamation.
Grammar and Spelling should put you in jail without trial.
