Hear DanRad Belt It Out Like No One's Business!

| Filed under: Broadway BabiesDaniel Radcliffe

Wow! He is really, really good! We're impressed!

How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying is in previews right now on Broadway, but someone was sneaky, sneaky enough to record Daniel Radcliffe perform the hit number, I Believe In You, while at the show.

We're so glad they did because it confirmed for us that he's totally right for this part!

Have a listen to DanRad give it all he's got in the video (above)!

    I was charmed…..

And there is just another reason that D. Rad is my #1 celeb crush!
man oh man what can't he do, seriously. He is amazing in every way, sexy beyond sexy, I don't care what anyone says

  3. 3

    Mediocre as usual.

Are we listening to the same thing? Hopefully his charm and acting (and John Larroquette) can save the show, listen to the chorus… those are singers. An actor does not a musical theatre performer make

    adorable.

    Re: domenci

he sings it in the same manor it's supposed to be sung. listen to matthew broderick's version or the original, robert morse.

props to dan radcliffe, i think he sounds great.

He's not great, but good, and he can improve since he just started. :D Yay Dan! He's so cute. Love his American accent.

I was at this show last night in the 3rd row… I am assuming this recording is from then. Daniel Radcliffe is breathtaking in the performance. His voice is incredible… this recording is just poor quality and it is hard to hear. I would one hundred percent recommend going to see the show…. he does a lot of physical dance numbers and keeps his voice up to par the entire time.

Perez I LOVE YOU! As against recording during live performances as I am, I will admit I've been in stiches ever since this show started previews as to how well Daniel sings. Thank you for posting this. So onto my critique of Daniel. You can definatley tell he's not a trained stage singer. But he absolutely has the talent to become a great stage singer. I think he sounds excellent for it being his first BIG musical theatre gig. (yes I know he sang the milky bar jingle in Equus but come on we can't compare that to a huge musical theatre song and dance number) I plan on seeing this show in August as a birthday present from my friend and after hearing this I'm even more excited about it.

not bad and I love him A LOT but there's just something missing and yeah I'm proud of him very happy for him but at the same time I'm angry, I study theater and of course my dream is broadway but is sooo hard to get there you have to be extremely talented and is just not fair that a guy who already has a big career and doesn't need broadway to survive is there, is just not fair for people who study and work so hard to be there they won't make it because a famous boy is taking their place with just a few lessons of dancing and singing, not fair. but I love you Dan and I wish you the best

    Loooove this.

Seriously, is there something he CAN'T do??? Dan is amazing!

Saw the show last night. It was outstanding and he was superb! Totally charismatic and enthusiastic. Singing was excellent and dancing was adorable.
Lots of fun. The crowd went wild. They truly brought the house down. This is the show to see even if you aren't a Harry Potter fan. Way to go Dan!

    Re: paulina=dan radcliffe fan #1
sounds like sour grapes to me

  18. 18

    To be honest he's crap.

This very poor quality recording doesn't show how good Radcliffe actually is.
And of course the chorus sounds stronger, they are more than 10 men singing at the same time. The fact that you don't know this says how little you really know about singing.
And he IS a vocal trained stage singer. He has been taking lessons for years and you can see it if you actually see the musical instead of talking without any proper knowledge. It's not unfair at all, he has work the same, if not more (since he did it at the same time he worked doing movies) than any other stage actor.
And he is a fantastic dancer too. Honestly, I didn't want to believe it but after seeing it with own eyes, there is no posible denying.
Btw, Katie Holmes was there seeing the musical too.
