Watch The Lindsay Lohan Surveillance Footage HERE!

| Filed under: Lindsay LohanLegal Matters

And here it is!

Check out some of the recently leaked surveillance footage of Lindsay Lohan at the jewelry store on that fateful day when she may or may not have stolen a $2,500 necklace and violated her probation (above)!

Apparently, the full 42 minute tape shows four different camera angles of the actress trying on several pieces of jewelry as she is accompanied by a male friend.

Depending on what source you hear it from, this tape will either make or break LiLo's case, and unfortunately, this much footage doesn't prove anything either way, but it's only a few more days till she's due back in court - so we'll know for certain soon enough!

What do U think?? Is Lindsay innocent??

She has messed up so many times that I could careless. She needs to move to Montana and stay away from Hollywood for about 5 years and then come back shining. The media is making everything worse

  2. 2

I notice how she grabs pieces (rings, bracelets), slips them on and doesn't take any time admiring, observing how they look before she moves on to something else, without removing anything. It's as if she's purposely trying to divert the clerk's attention. Also, after placing the necklace on her neck, she sub-consciously pats it. She KNOWS what she has done, but is a true kleptomaniac. Has Winona seen this clip? I'd love to hear her impression of this case.

Nobody gives a shit about Blohan. Stop writing about her.

  4. 4

Is it just me or does that store look like total shit?

  5. 5

This doesn't prove shit for innocence. She said she was loaned the necklace. She wasn't loaned the necklace, and she left the store with it and didn't return it until the police were called. End of story. Bitch stole the necklace and needs to do her jail time.

Re: coffeeteaoramiee – Yeah, it looks pretty low rent. No wonder it attracted Lohan.

  7. 7

Doesn't matter if she's innocent. Defense only needs to introduce doubt that she's guilty. Since she said she was loaned the necklace, and there is no evidence of a 'loan' taking place, the video might not help her at all.

I dont think the fact that there's no volume on this tape helps the store owners case. I wish Lindsay the best of luck in her upcoming trial, I think she deserves a chance to be sober and successful without accusations popping up everywhere. On the other hand, I do wish she would get out of the spotlight for a while, go film on location in a far away place.

  10. 10

I doubt shes fully innocent.. its hard to really tell (for me anyway) by the footage… but they really hurt their case by trying to shop the footage for 30K… knowing the Lindsay saga.. she'll likely get a slap on the wrist if anything at all.

  11. 11

That isn't the whole tape. I think i read the whole tape is 42 minutes long. They are just releasing it in bits and pieces.

Re: Gilbert Bumpucker – If she's a kleptomaniac, people shouldn't be judgin her so hard, it's a disease!

Sorry I always want people to get along in peace :)

  13. 13

I can't tell at all. It seems to me that if she were just trying to outright steal it, she wouldn't have done so right in front of the clerk. That lady was RIGHT THERE. I am not really a fan of hers (actually haven't seen anything she's been in except for her early stuff). However, I feel bad for her and I think she's got a tough road to stay sober while the world watches with bated breath for her to slip up.

It seems so shady to me that this jewelry store sold the tapes to the highest bidder. It's obvious that they had the intention of cashing in between publicity and selling the tapes. I think that alone damages their credibility.

Whatever happens, I hope Lindsay stays sober. She really needs to get the heck out of LA and go somewhere that's quiet for a while.

Re: GiGi31 – What you say makes me think that they knew she was taking the necklace, but didn't stop her so they could turn this into publicity for them? Maybe that's why they didn't want to press charges, cause they were only looking to appear on TV and so on…

"I don't care who it is [shown on the video], it's a negative for the prosecution," said James Blatt, a veteran defense lawyer whose clients have included former San Fernando Valley drug dealer and convicted killer Jesse James Hollywood. "Somebody is getting paid, and that should not occur."

She's innocent now … that tape that was leaked is inadmissible. Lindsey gives the law the finger again.

    FROM ARTICLE
Lindsay Lohan's jewelry store surveillance tape: What does it mean for Lindsay?
    by Kate Ward

Defense attorney and Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney Managing Partner Stuart Slotnick says the tape’s release could help Lohan’s case. “It is such a positive development for Lindsay Lohan,” Slotnick says. “It is awful blow to the prosecution’s case. [It seems Kamofie and Company is] trying to get publicity for themselves and for money. If I was the defense attorney, I’d say this is all a PR stunt for the jewelry shop. Her claim that she forgot to return a small piece of jewelry is a really believable claim.”

    FROM ARTICLE
Lindsay Lohan Theft Case Is It A ‘PR Stunt’ From the Jewelry Store?

To get some more PR. If they sell it, they know it’s going to be published. It looks like they’re trying to capitalize on the situation. They’re trying to get money and they’re trying to get as much PR out of [this] as they can. This is really harmful to the owner’s credibility.”

  18. 18

If she wore it home by accident, then why didn't she return it as soon as she noticed? She put her own necklace back on, so how did she "forget" to take the store's necklace back off? And if it was a loan, then why didn't she return it when the store asked? Before the cops were called? When celebrities borrow jewelry, they typically sign a contract of responsibility. Lindsay would know that. If the store gave it or loaned it to her, she should have asked for a receipt.

  19. 19

    THIRD

I can show where a financial interest was the motive, in selling the tapes….. I don't want to do it, but I believe I can.

I hope the PR case works, and the jewelry store gets back to business, but my primary concern is that Lindsay gets this case resolved ASAP, hopefully without a trial, with NO JAIL TIME. But if it needs to go to court, these issues may be raised, especially the issue of INTENT, and INTENT for video release.
    Please, let's not do this!

  20. 20

She is smarter than all of us. The Judge, the prosecutor, even her own lawyer look like fools. Lindsay knows better than all of us that she will never go to jail for this. Lindsay - you are the true winner! I thank you for exposing the legal system for the joke that it is.

  21. 21

this is evidence and the idiots sold it to the public. in a way they tampered with evidence. this will totally help her.

  22. 22

Remembering Lindsay the child actress, I want her to succeed. She IS talented - there are glimpses but her adult roles mostly stress sex. Kids in show business have everything given or done for them and they wind up making bad choices grown up because of that. They know their lines but can not balance a checkbook or do anything useful for themselves. All bad choices in her personal and professional life. Bet she could not find the necklace when the store asked for it back…

  23. 23

Hard to say if she's innocent or not. She always seems to come off like she's above the law & can get away with whatever she wants. You wouldn't think she would need to steal anything, but she has a lot of problems so I don't know. The store making a public spectacle of it before going to court & profiting from the video seems scandalous. They could be just preying on her celebrity status. The court of public opinion is unfair based on the limited footage released. She's already cast herself in a negative light from her past behavior, so it makes the whole scenario believable. I'll reserve my judgment & let the legal court decide. I really hope she overcomes & bounces back from her problems. She really is talented. I miss the old, youthful Lindsay from before she went off the wayside & got wrapped up in the party lifestyle & became a tabloid sensation. She used to show a lot of promise in her career. Now she's more of a reality fodder. Would like to see her get back on the right track.

  24. 24

If taking the necklace was really just an "accident", she would have returned it immediately after she realized she had walked out with it. Guilty or not, lindsay really needs some hard jail time for longer than a few days. She's screwed up so many times and continues to do so because she KNOWS she can get away with it because she's "famous." Its actually sickening. As long as you have money and famee, you can get away with murder, i mean look at OJ Simpson. She really needs to grow the F$#& up. i really hope her career tanks and nobody is willing to work with her ever again just so that she'll learn her goddamn lesson and that she's not invincible

  25. 25

    lolol

  26. 26

What if the store told her she could have it? Don't stores give stuff to celebrities for free? And for one thing, the store looks like a crappy place to go to, especially if you are in Hollywood. We have Jared's that look better lol. But the tape being sold for money seems fishy

  27. 27

I think the jewelry made enough money off the tape to pay for the necklace and probably then some. The courts should just have Lindsay return the necklace, have some probation and be done with it. The jewelers made off like thieves themselves!

  28. 28

I'll tell you all the one reason why she will get away with it. She's famous. Or at least she was until she went on a downwards spiral. Celebrity and jail time normally don't go together i think she knew all along she'd get away with it or get off lightly.

  29. 29

Lindsay is innocent . The clerk is right in front of her . Why does the tape not show Lindsay leaving and the clerk saying anything to her ? We have no idea what was being said at the time . Looks like the store needed money and found a target !
Fight it Lindsay You did Nothing wrong !
