Charlie Sheen is having some problems getting his book, Apocalypse Me, published by anyone.
We're sure there are publishers out there that are Sheen-level crazy and willing to publish it, but three MAJOR publishers have all turned it down!
About the publishing woes:
The publishers who spoke all said they turned down the memoir and expressed amazement anyone would take it, even if a finished work would likely be a best-seller. They cited Sheen's public rants and chaotic private life, including a history of accusations of domestic violence. And Sheen has filed a $100 million lawsuit against Warner Bros. and the executive producer of "Two and a Half Men," and he might be restricted in what he could say about the program.
Not only that, but publishers learned a lesson with OJ's "fictional" book If I Did It, and all the backlash that got. Publishers are looking to that as an example with polarizing material.
It also might be the fact that the MaSheen thinks he can get $10 million dollars for the book deal.
We feel like the only sums of money this guy can understand are in the millions!
The book will be picked up eventually, and when it does it'll be inneresting to hear who will take that leap of faith.
Will U be buying Charlie's book if it gets published??
