Check Out Foo Fighters' Lo-Fi Music Video For Rope!

| Filed under: Music MinuteDave Grohl

Nice! Lo-fi!

Check out the just-released music video for Foo Fighters' Rope, directed by frontman Dave Grohl and from their upcoming album Wasting Light (above)!

Apparently, this was shot entirely on VHS!

Grohl reveals:

“We shot the video … in a big soundstage in Los Angeles. And we had to build this cube out of fabric and wood for the band to play within, and it’s lit from outside.”

Ha! That's pretty cool!

We're feeling it!

I dunno, it just sound so generic and random. Backround music, noise, nothing that would bring you out of your focus.

Random? Nah, it's very organized I think. I love the vocals, and that I can see the VHS distortion at the bottom of the screen. Someone needs to turn that tracking wheel!

It's about time a band sticks to its roots…..LOVE IT……and I don't even love the song so much, I just love that these guys have been doing this for soooooo long and are still having a great time at it and still putting out great songs.
