Pirates Love Tron: Legacy!!!

pirates love tron legacy

Flynn Jeff Bridges would NOT approve of this, pirates!

Last year, pirates were all over James Cameron's Avatar, which received the coveted dreaded honor of being the #1 most pirated movie of the year.

Now, it looks like Tron: Legacy is the frontrunner for 2011, because it currently holds the #1 spot.

Here's a list of the current Top 10 most pirated movies:

1. Tron: Legacy
2. The Next Three Days
3. The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
4. The Fighter
5. Season of the Witch
6. Drive Angry
7. The King's Speech
8. 127 Hours
9. How Do You Know
10. The Mechanic

Aside from Tron: Legacy, it looks like pirates have really turned up the heat on Nicolas Cage flicks!

…Then again, guess it doesn't come as too much of a surprise to us that people don't want to pay to see Season of the Witch or Ghost Rider 1.5 Drive Angry.

Are U surprised by any of the movies on the "most pirated" list?

I know movies cost an outrageous price, but people who pirate are scum. Not only did they have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MOVIE, they are taking a lot of money for doing NOTHING other then copying it. OH YEAH, AND STEALING IT! Will not ever buy or knowingly watch a pirated movie. Yes, I think Hollywood is grossly overpaid, AND unfortunatley, THAT is one of the reasons why film pirating florishes. $17 for a movie in 3d? FOR ONE PERSON? $10 FOR A REGULAR MOVIE? Hollywood is killing the movie industry for the regular, low middle class people who are getting up there in age. Movies used to be like a weekly thing, or couple xs a month for many many people. NOW IT IS LIKE GOING TO A BROADWAY SHOW!

Shit! I've just downloaded Tron as well! I'm a terrible person.. :(

Re: justtfax – Movies deserve to be downloaded for that exact reason. 10 dollars for a fucken movie is ridiculous. I remember I use to pay 4.75 roughly 10 years ago. That's how much it is to rent movies online, Comcast etc. So why do we have to pay 10 dollars in theaters? Doesn't make ANY sense. I love being scum. So unless they decide to lower the price, I'll be renting my movies online or downloading. Fuck that.

I've shelled out hundreds of dollars for movies in the past year..and do you know what? I've pirated pretty much every one of them BEFORE I went out and bought them. Movie Studios only have themselves to blame for this. We're living in a digital age. Im more than willing to hand over 20-30 bucks for Tron Legacy on DVD or Blu-ray, but I CANT. Why? Official release dates mean it won't be out here for another month. Hell..if I can go online and get a 1080p version of a movie RIGHT NOW, why the heck can't the studio sell it to me right now?. In my opinion there is NOTHING wrong with the charges studios are asking for. Seriously..$10, $20 to see something that cost millions of dollars to create? Stop whining. Its worth it. I just wish we didn't have to wait so freaking long to get shit when its already available online.

Boo-freaking-hoo! It’s stealing and there’s no excuse. Jimmy Choos are too expensive so I can go lift a pair and justify it by saying “Gosh, I’ll have to wait months before the knock-offs come out that I can afford”? You don’t actually have a constitutional right to see movies at the moment you want to see them. It’s a product that you have the option to buy. Too expensive? Tough! You have to wait? STFU and wait!
