This is awful!
Here's the whole story (below):
Back in October, our brain almost escaped from our head while trying to figure out the situation with this new Beastie Boys release.
As we said back then, the Beastie Boys decided NOT to release their album Hot Sauce Committee Part 1, and instead chose to release Hot Sauce Committee Part 2…but with some tracks from Part 1 added to the album.
Now, the Beastie Boys have announced a release date of "MAY THREE, Y'all" (May 3rd) for HSCP2.
Here's the announcement the Boys made about the release:
"Since the dawn of time, and perhaps even before, there was a silent order who were tasked with a mission. They held their secret tightly. On may 3rd the HOT SAUCE COMMITTEE PART TWO will be unleashed on the general public. Hold fast ye heathens."
We suppose this isn't the first time a sequel has come out before an original. Just look at Star Wars…the first one ever to be released was Part IV! Maybe that's what they're going for here
but probably not.
For those of you who'd like even further confusion, check out the "unique" titles for the new album's tracks after the jump!
