Earlier this year we told you about the paternity suit brought against Spanish television host, Don Francisco.
A 43-year-old man in Chile claims he found out from his mother last year that the Sabado Gigante host was his father.
Months later, Don Francisco, whose real name is Mario Luis Kreutzberger, finally took the paternity test, however, new reports are surfacing stating he tried to bride a laboratory worker!
The 70-year-old is naturally denying the allegations saying, "I've never bribed anybody." And he’s taking the suit seriously, as he suspended one of his shows temporarily to go defend himself in the Chilean courts.
Chile's Medical Legal Service filed a criminal complaint about two weeks ago claiming that biochemist Luis Velazquez was offered a bribe by people close to Francisco to smudge the results.
But Don Francisco is adamant he’s done nothing wrong, adding:
"I don't know this Mr. Velazquez who came out in the press. I also don't know about anything that has to do with manipulation in the Medical Legal Service.
For my family, for my wife, for my children, for my grandchildren, these months have been very difficult and painful, because I have never been involved in this.”
We’ll have to wait a few more weeks to find out the official results.
