In a very weak and too-little-too-late move, Gilbert Gottfried fired up his Twitter account and tweeted some half-hearted and stock apologies for his intensely inappropriate jokes about the tsunami in Japan.
"I sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended by my attempt at humor regarding the tragedy in Japan."
"I meant no disrespect, and my thoughts are with the victims and their families."
Oh, well, if you meant no disrespect Gilbert, I guess everyone is cool with you now. Our mistake.
Maybe you'll get your job back, I'm sure they just misunderstood you too. One big mix up.
How about you donate or go help instead of packing an apology into 140 characters?
