Britney's Back Up Dancers Legally Required To Not Expose Her To Drugs Or Alcohol!

Better safe than sorry, we say!

According to a non-disclosure agreement that Britney Spears' back-up dancers were required to sign before working on her music video for Till The World Ends, they are legally obligated to keep the formerly troubled pop star away from alcohol or drugs!

According to the NDA:

"Contractor acknowledges that it is essential that [Britney] not be exposed to any alcohol, drugs, or controlled substances."

Furthermore, dancers can be tested for drugs at any time, and can be fired for failing a test or refusing to take one!

Seems a little much, but the reality is that Brit Brit DID have a very rough period in her personal life, and we think that she's smart to ensure that she doesn't put herself in a potentially compromising situation! The road to recovery can be a long and difficult one!

Either way, gurl - whatever you're doing, it's WORKING, so congratulations!

Can't wait to see the new music video!

keep that fat whore away from drugs!

  4. 4

I don't think that it sounds to harsh. I mean, its employment. Would anyone outside the business industry be allowed to drink or do drugs while on the job? No. Its not harsh, its keeping control of your employees as well as keeping Britney sober. Its smart, and generally what all businesses do.

Summer 2011. I Wanna Go. Everywhere.

  6. 6

oh my. a britney video with a bunch of backup dancers, and no doubt a dozen pointless costume changes.
    how inventive & original. yuk.

  7. 7

Someone said she got her body back. Looks to me like she lost it again.
She's got more rolls than a bakery. Her thunder thighs are even worse now.

  8. 8

um she passed all drug tests back then. fucking idiot. people judge so easy

  9. 9

keep their dicks away from her too.

  10. 10

This is inline with how the real world functions - so why would it seem to be unreasonable?

  11. 11

Her owners don't want that messing up the prescribed cocktail of drugs that they have her on to keep her under their control.

  12. 12

I can't imagine being on a leash by my father or mother.
Especially, with me earning everything and all of them living off of me.
    -
Britney must hate it. Just sayin'

  13. 13

This crazy cow may be helped with a few more drugs. I would worry more abought someone dicking her and then she will have another kfat to feed

  14. 14

Re: Eric92 – In your own words: "just remember that karma is a bitch and you wont be the exception hoe!" Live it, breathe it, eat it up cum rag!

  15. 15

That's very smart, keep temptation far away.

  16. 16

It only seems weird because the policy is centered around one person. But if you think about it, many other jobs require drug testing as part of the screening process and subject their employees to random drug tests after that. It's a common practice so I don't see it as seeming "a little much".

  17. 17

She's on so many psychosomatic drugs that if she went off her meds she'd be found passed out and face down in a gutter with a freshly shaven head in Hollywood. The only thing keeping her stable now and forever is a well regimented course of mood stablizers.

  18. 18

    root beer floats and yum

  19. 19

Tobacco/nicotine. She's addicted to those and so is Federline.

  20. 20

It is not uncommon that employees are capable of being drug tested at any time, but the fact that they have to agree not to expose drugs towards Britney is pathetic on her part, that she lacks the self-control to not take those drugs or alcohol.

  21. 21

    this is OLD news perez.

  22. 22

How did I know that someone would write that's old news Perez, do you people have any life or just sit at front of the computer and read Britt gossip. I get it that people get bored at work or whatever but please get a life.

  23. 23

I can understand the whole random drug-testing thing (that's pretty standard for most, if not ALL, jobs, so I don't know WHERE in the hell that's "a little much". Get a fucking grip) However, it is absolutely NOT the responsibility of her back-up dancers, nor should they be legally obligated, to keep her away from drugs, alcohol, or any kind of tempting vice. They are her BACK-UP DANCDERS, not her fucking baby-sitters. Bull-fucking-shit.

  24. 24

If it's such "old news"..then why click on the link and leave a cooment!!!!

    Re: buckets8 – Very true.

Femme Fatale is gonna be fire! Can't wait for March 29th…..

  27. 27

i didnt know artists hang out with dancers enought to get them offer drugs and alcohol to each other :S

as far as i know she is the boss if she doesnt want to even talk to them she doesnt have to…

  28. 28

It's no where near too much… are you insane!?

  29. 29

This is nothing new. She had the same rules in place for her circus tour

  30. 30

If she had the same rule for circus tour then I am offended because I was there. She could hardly stay awake on her own show. Before she used to be a good dancer but now she can't even dance, failed at drug test 4 sure that we didn't hear about.

  31. 31

Re: Eric92 – You want us to keep your mother away from drugs? Oh, we can't… you're closer to her so, yeah xD

  32. 32

Wow if only every one with a substance abuse problem had the same kind of special treatment. If my boss at work had previous drug problems and his collegues (myself) would have to be tested for use of drugs, i would tell them where to stick it!

  33. 33

all her hater kiss her ass britney u go girl ur amazing love ya cant wait for u album to come out 9 more days and people dont comment me back cuz im not listening thanks

  34. 34

if you read the whole document, this is like 1/45 of the whole contract. I'm sure everyone signs these kind of confidentiality clauses and I doubt if Britney and one her dancers decide to go drinking after the show, no one will get fired. Much ado about nothing.

  35. 35

    old news….once again…

  36. 36

Type in google: "HERELIN T-SHIRT", and enjoy the wonderful T-shirts with artistic, beautiful prints!

  37. 37

Thats great! Thats right brit keep a good head on your shoulders! I JUST WANT TO ADDRESS THE HATERS WHO SAY SHE IS FAT. WELL YOU ARE BLIND! GO WATCH BRITNEYS NEW MUSIC VIDEO HOLD IT AGAINST ME! ALSO GO LOOK AT HER PHOTOS FOR OUT MAGAZINE AND V MAGAZINE! IF YOU THINK SHE IS EVEN A LITTLE FAT YOU NEE HELP!

  38. 38

And, why is that a little much, Perez? Why did you have to mock this at all or make an inference that it is abnormal, when it is actually par for the course in the real world - and the real world is far less susceptible to this conduct than the entertainment industry. Many, many companies require drug testing prior to employment and agreements to remain drug-free with the possibility of testing such. Further, what company do you know that permits intoxicated individuals, or those in possession of alcohol or drugs, on the premises?! I don't know of any, other than perhaps in the service industry (alcohol, not drugs), where serving alcohol is part of their stated and LICENSED service. I think it is awesome she is fostering a drug and alcohol free environment for herself and her employees - good for her. Too bad this isn't MORE common in her professional - it might have helped others (I'm looking at you, Witney & Christina). Besides, I just remembered: remember all those 80s law and IB firms that had bars in the basements and conference room cocktails regularly "after hours?" Yeah, they ended up closing. The sober professionals moved onward / upward, getting other jobs or opening their own firms; the eternal frat boys / party girls ended up in rehab - or worse.

  39. 39

First of all, it isn't whatever SHE is doing - it is whatever her BABYSITTERS are doing. She isn't doing a good job. She is doing whatever her babysitters tell her to do. This contract is a joke. I could see having it for an underage artist (maybe) but Britney is almost 30 fucking years old!!! She can't take care of herself and now others have to behave around her? I hope they also put in this contract that they can't sleep with her or impregnate her either. If she has no say in her own life it is time for her to retire while she still has a little bit of dignity left.

  40. 40

I don't think that it's too much to ask to take a drug test. Alot of employers nowadays have the right to take random drug tests and I think that they are necessary in todays world. A good majority of ppl are smoking pot, doing coke and also doing alot of prescription drugs. They should not be at their jobs with drugs in their systems.

  41. 41

A bigger threat is fried chicken, french fries and pickled pigs feet.

    42

Britney is probably on anti-psychotic meds because she does have mental illness. You can't mix those type of meds with alcohol or drugs without having dangerous side effects or possibly even death. Better to be safe then sorry. Those who will say we don't know if she has mental illness I say I work in the mental health industry and they wouldn't keep her under a conservatorship if she didn't.

  43. 43

I agree, Better safe than sorry

  44. 44

Smart move. Good decision. I work in a rehab center and it would be ludicrous for me to use drugs and come into work. I also have piss test to do since I had out medication to the residents…Employers want to make sure I`m not making me any drug cocktails!
Britney future is what is most important now. Helping her stay off the drugs is the most important. Whatever it takes to help her stay clean.

  45. 45

Isn't everyone basically legally obligated to not give anyone drugs already?

  46. 46

um, i think we're all forgetting britney spears is a fucking adult, not a prepubescent teen who has to be chaperoned or else their hormones get the best of them. she's so pathetic i'm ready to see her retire. she's a fucking joke. she doesn't sing live, her dancing is no better than drunk staggering, and for some reason, people insist she's still contributing to music. she's not. her, if anyone loves tell her to quit making a damn fool of herself!!

  47. 47

  48. 48

    Old news.

Re: BritneyLand – yes, some artists do actually have friendships with their dancers/band. I know they had to take Britney to different hairstylists everytime because they couldn't have anyone talking & getting close to her or whatever but when it comes to dancers I'm sure she speaks to them. I know Christina's dancers are some of her best friends who are always at her home functions, birthdays, wedding etc & have been the same dancers since the beginning. I'm sure Britney's no exposure to drugs or alcohol has to do with her having to go to rehab in the past, she was taken in on a 5150 & is still on a conservatorship, even though it was a few years ago now, there was still a reason those things took place & a reason they are still in effect. Either way eliminating drugs/alcohol makes sense.

  50. 50

Perez you cannot be this much of a moron! You have to stop making stuff up…seriously! You write: "they are legally obligated to keep the formerly troubled pop star away from alcohol or drugs!"

And then you say they are required not to exposer her to drugs or alcohol. You idiot! They are required to not have or use drugs or alcohol in front of her…thery're NOT required to keep her away from them you idiot! Man, you suck at you "job."

  51. 51

Can't keep her in a bubble forever. Seems that if she isn't strong enough to stay away from drugs, she shouldn't be on tour either.

  52. 52

That's total BS! It's fine if they get fired for testing positive ona drug test but they should not be contractually obligated to keep them away from trailer trash Britney. What if she falls off the wagon (AGAIN) are they going to fire all her back up dancers??

You know a good way to stay away from all that stuff - GET OUT OF THE MUSIC BIZ. If you car so much about your family take them away fromthe world that make you a F up.

She is such a waste of auto tune
