Child Who Defended Himself From Bully Gives Tell-All Interview!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooSad Sad

We're VERY curious to see this!

Earlier in the week, we posted a video of a young man named Casey Heynes, who, after being relentlessly harassed by one of his peers, retaliated by body slamming the bully onto the ground. Both children were suspended for four days by their school, but Casey has become well-known all over the world, and praised for finally taking a stand!

Check out a preview of his upcoming, tell-all interview on A Current Affair With Karl Stefanovic (above)!

Poor thing! It's terrible that he's had to endure so much - especially since he comes off as such a nice kid - but we think that this unfortunately is a reality that needs to be addressed.

Although violence is rarely the answer to anything, everyone has a breaking point, and it's clear that he only acted out physically because it was the only way to make his bully stop.

Hopefully this situation will serve as a warning to those who may have thought that they can treat their peers however they want without consequence.

GOOD FOR HIM!!!! STUPID BULLIES! AND THEY BOTH GET SUSPENDED!!!??? I guess according to the school he should have stood there and taken it!? I love how the bullies never get reprimanded, if they pick on someone over and over……the person being bullied stand up and it's not acceptable! LOL

  2. 2

THAT WAS A PRETTY GOOD SLAM. HE WAS TRULY A VICTIM. HOWEVER IF SOMEONE IS DOING ACTING GAY IN PUBLIC AND ANNOYING OTHER PEOPLE THEY ARE NOT A VICTIM AND DESERVE TO BE BULLIED

  3. 3

He overreacted. He could have killed the kid with that slam.

He should be charged with assault, or possibly attempted murder

  4. 4

How many more YEARS do kids etc have to put uo with bulling?
It's too bad he did not kick his FUCKING TEETH OUT…………..it has been a free for all to bully the blind, over weigh ANY one……. DIFFERENT………..JUST LOOK AT THE HOLLYWOOD STARS……………….do they EVER NOTICE THEY ARE ALOT OF THE TIME…………NOT THAT GREAT TO LOOK AT……………oooooommmmg they are just LIKE US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Teachers do NOTHING to help this poor child and many children! I know they NEVER helped me when I was in highschool, I had to fucking move schools!

Then he gets PUNISHED for defending himself. Fucking bullshit!

    THIS GUY IS A LEGEND.

  7. 7

Seriously, everything I see on this website appears on thedailywh.at days before you post it

This boy was publicly put down by our federal government education minister Peter Garrett in the press. Shameful! Peter Garrett is the former lead singer of the band Midnight Oil, who so often encouraged people to stand up for their rights with their music.

Human Nature….I believe that being pushed to your limit will only cause "anyone" to snap. It is typical of humans and in a way we need to accept what happened here. There needs to be more done to stop people like the bully. They are everywhere and it is not going to stop until we do more.

If you see anyone being bullied or picked on (assaulted)….call the cops or do something.

  10. 10

Fat kid is a little bitch for getting picked on by someone literally 3 feet tall and 100lbs lighter.

If you're a weak minded twat you deserve to get bullied.

and parents that tell their kids to turn the other cheek or walkover is a huge failure as well. All thats doing is setting them up to be a pushover in life. At work, At home, In a relationship, etc

Re: NookiesWA – You're truly very unintelligent.
    -
What Casey did was necessary, no matter how dangerous it was. It shouldn't have gotten that point, but it did, thus the bully brought that on himself. At that moment, Casey redeemed himself, and a lot of kids never get that chance. It's so incredibly important to have a sense of self-worth, and hopefully he's getting there after all the years of physical and psychological torment. Not everyone has been bullied, but everyone have been teased, laughed at or made fun of, and for so many people around the world who've experienced what he's experienced at some level, he *is* a superhero. I wish him all the best.

  12. 12

    This kid is cool.

  13. 13

Re: icefire227 – He didn't kill anyone please and even in attempted murder there is such a thing as self-defense the bully should have seen it coming he was videotaping the whole damn thing.

  14. 14

    Casey Heynes for Prez

  15. 15

EXCUSE ME!????? This kid tried to turn the other cheek with this little disrespectful fucker! His little ass just bit off more than he could chew and if he'd gotten hurt….it would have been unfortunate but the result of his own actions. As soon as adults start making this disrespectful twerps accountable for their actions and choices, they will think twice about picking on other kids. This fucking kid is a hero!

  16. 16

Re: MarioMonjack – what does ”doing acting gay” even mean??? NO ONE deserved to be taunted, ridiculed or tortured!

Re: NookiesWA – Like Sergeant Hartman in full metal jacket said: Didn't Mommy and Daddy show you enough attention when you were a child?
An ignorant, self-centered, know-it-all could say something so mean ass you. I am sure you are a bully who thinks it is ok to push people around, because they dont want to use violence. I feel sorry for you and your parents-who didnt raise you as good as they think..

  19. 19

Re: icefire227 – Your joking right? How could anyone possibly stand up for that bully, it's such a shame what this generation has become, and it's sad that bullying is the "cool" thing to do now. That bully deserved that body slam, I'd love to watch you get picked on and see how much of it you could take. That kid was innocent!

  20. 20

Bullies know they can get away with it, they are usually the teachers pets, the popular kids and they know it. Most the teachers (not all) are still stuck in high school mentally, and they love all the drama still. They often impower the bullies by letting them get away with all kinds of stuff. The bully feels entitled to do what ever they want without consequences. Often the bullies parent works or helps out at the school and the administration looks the other way because they are friends with the bullies parent. I've seen teachers and coaches not only look the other way but actually get involved with it! So who is kid going to help him, some that works at the school, NOT!

  21. 21

    Casey,you are truly a hero!
To all of those who were bullied I applaud you for taken neccessary action. So many abused kids end up killing themselves to escape the torture but Casey did the right thing.
To the loser bully,I hope next time Casey breaks your neck!

  22. 22

VIOlENCE IS NOT THE ANSWER BUT SOMETIMES YOU REALLY DO NEED TO KICK A LITTLE ASS SO PEOPLE KNOW YOUR NOT THE ONE TO FUCK WITH…
MY boys have always been bullied all through school and when my oldest got to high school this year, I told him if anyone even messes with him to kick they're ass and I will gladly pick him up when they call, as a parent it SUCKS like hell to know when you drop your child off at school that they're is someone just waiting to mess with them and NO matter how much you complain to the school they're is nothing they can do because it's really up to the parents to make it stop, all the school can do is wait for damage to be done before they can take action and how does that HELP the child and the parents that are dealing with it ???
Every kid that is bullied needs to learn how to STAND UP for themselves because if they don't it will never end…BULLIES don't give a shit what people say BUT get back in they're face and watch how quick the shut they're mouths and stop….

  23. 23

Re: BELLA blue – Sorry your kids have been bullied. I have a three-yr-old son, and I will definitely teach him to defend himself (walking away and getting a supervisor doesn't always work). Bullies bully because they can…once they realize the person will fight back, it often stops.

  24. 24

    Re: icefire227 – really?!

  25. 25

Re: icefire227 – attempted murder? you are a DUMB PERSON.

  26. 26

Re: NookiesWA – Wow… so not only is bullying to be commended, but the parents that teach their children to respect one another are failures at life? How the hell were you raised??

  27. 27

    Re: NookiesWA
    your parents failed!

  28. 28

Re: NookiesWA – It's such shame that your so ignorant. Your folks must be so proud.

  29. 29

"Although violence is rarely the answer" - I wholly disagree. We have the right to self defense in the US and they do in Australia, too. This child was assaulted was acting within his rights. He never should have been punished.

  30. 30

Re: NookiesWA – Go easy. Everybody is made differently. Some kids have Asperger's, some are abused at home, some are gay…the list of vulnerabilities is practically infinite. Nobody deserves to be bullied, not even you.

  31. 31

Isn't it obvious they are on school grounds, there are group of kids around and someone is filming - hello? Yet, not one adult or educator stepped in. If it is after hours where is campus security? Casey is one kid surrounded by idiots. If he didn't use extreme force on the one punk that was hitting, maybe some of the other punks would have jumped him too. After Casey slammed that kid, they were thinking holy s@@t and wanted no part of it.

Kids make bad mistakes. Both of these kids did. That's why they're not legal people until eighteen or twenty-one. It should be treated as such. Holding kids to adult standards doesn't really work even if it's the ideal we're pointing them towards. They're kids, and they have eighteen years to learn the ropes.

Re: SkipperBarbie – Obviously not since I never had to come home crying to momma about a bully bauhaha LOL. Damn, This generation should NOT breed. Only raising a bunch of pansies. Quite sad actually.

Fact: If kids allow bullies to bully them they will end up being a weak minded pushover.
Fact: Parents that tell their kids to ignore them, Walk away are more than likely parents that got bullied in school.

Weak minded pansies breeding more weak minded pansies.

    Re: NookiesWA
Check this persons statements out - a bully at heart! Yes, you probably bullied people when you were young so you are trying to back up why and give yourself peace of mind about how nasty you were and still are!

I can see that you don't have any compassion for people….you are sticking up for the person that wouldn't leave someone alone. You actually have issues like that little bully!

My kid was bullied. I tried to have it taken care of the right way, with teachers, principals, etc. they did nothing, lots of lip service, but nothing. I finally sat down with my son and told him, he'd have to finish it, I told him he was never to start something, but there comes a time when enough, is enough. He popped the little bugger once and hasn't had an issue since.

Re: Cupid – Good job! Finally I witness a statement coming from a somewhat decent parent. You should of hopped in that even faster and told him to kick his face in.
