Freak Accident Injures Four At SXSW

Yikes! We're just glad no one was hurt worse!
On Friday night, while OMD (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark) was tearing up the stage at SXSW, an accident involving one of their camera led to four people being taken to the hospital.
According to sources, a camera boom weighing about 350 pounds fell into the audience, injuring about seven people in the surrounding area. Emergency crews and medics were on the scene within minutes and four of those fans were rushed to the hospital for more thorough examinations. Thankfully, as of today, everyone is reportedly fine.
As for the band, they've made no mention of the incident on their website, but they did dedicate their performance to those who were hurt.
Bummer. Not only did those people get hurt, but they also missed Moby's surprise performance. Such a drag!

love OMD!!!!!!
Never situate yourself under any equipment at concerts. You never know. I've seen outdoor speaker columns blow over in stong winds.
