Joseph Gordon-Levitt Is NOT The Holiday Killer In The Dark Knight Rises

| Filed under: Film FlickersJoseph Gordon-Levitt

Joseph Gordon-Levitt not playing Holiday Killer

Ahhh! WTF! Just tell us who he's playing already!

A source close to the situation has revealed that contrary to popular reports, Joseph Gordon-Levitt will NOT be playing Alberto Falcone, otherwise known as the Holiday Killer, in Christopher Nolan's highly anticipated Batman film The Dark Knight Rises.

Bummer. We were really digging that story line and character choice.

Now we're back to square one and Gordon-Levitt might, possibly be playing Robin Black Mask Dick Grayson Batgirl the Riddler Thug #3 in scene 46.

LOLz. Jk!

What's the next best guess? Come on people, share your comic wisdom for us!

    He has to be Robin!!

Perez often reports things that aren't true - you get too excited Perez! Calm down and fact check first

Those Batman movies are so bad. Unwatchable. Zero plot or story. Just a bunch of pretty pictures. The American public is so freaking uneducated.

  4. 4

Yet another story you got wrong.

Re: boston61 – That's why The Dark Knight is the seventh highest grossing film of all time?

Re: bwilliams – - Just because a movie makes a lot of money at the box office doesn't make it a good movie. Look at Avatar. It was a visually stunning movie (although I think that the aliens in the movie looked ridiculous) but it had a predictable plot that was patched together using ideas that were cherry picked from other movies.

That being said, I disagree with boston61. They may not have been the best movies ever but they were better than the Batman movies which had come before. Also, I am slightly curious…what exactly is it about American's that you find so freaking uneducated? I don't know where you are from but is it a place where the citizens go onto a website like perezhilton.com to make a comment and end up generalizing an entire group of people? If so, I don't really believe that your expert opinion about education is as valid as you would like to believe.

Oh no! You got my hopes up for nothing.

All these rumors and counter-rumors is starting to become an overkill. I don't know if the publicists or marketing people are behind all this but they should certainly stop otherwise I'll lose interest in watching the film.

i worked for batman when they was filming in chicago. an nolan works a tight ship. very secretive but if i had to guess it's still going to be riddler cause he will keep it a secret untill a done filming. but i would like to see someone who's realistic and dark for joseph to play like Mr. Zsasz.

    batgirl ftw

  13. 13

I bet he is the holiday killer and they're just trying to throw us off.

  14. 14

Meh I don't even want to know anything to be honest. I enjoy a movie much more without knowing too much of the plot to begin with, or even who's supposed to be playing who.

  15. 15

Ahaha, that Batgirl made me laugh. Maybe he's going to play just some random character? Like a cop or something.

    You're an idiot.

Re: Onomatopoeia – I agree with you. I guess I should have expanded on my point: it was the seventh highest grossing film…in the world. Clearly it wasn't just Americans who liked it.
And I agree again: a movie does not sum up the education of a nation.

  18. 18

The Joker… since he looks like a young replica twin of the Late Heath Ledger.. but than again no one will ever out do his performance…

  19. 19

Either he is The Joker, Robin or the Riddler.

  20. 20

he's the perfect riddler. its got to be the riddler!

  21. 21

He will be playing Jean Paul Valley, the man who takes over Batman when Bruce Wayne gets his back broken by Bane. Perfect ending to the trilogy. It’s about time Hollywood uses originality and not the same old good guy wins, bad guy loses bullsh!t. That’s not how the world works.
