Well, holy shiz. We guess it pays to be Steven Spielberg!

The iconic director was recently spotted sailing around St. Barth's and St. Maarten on this dinky little thing, AKA a $200 million mega-yacht called the Seven Seas!

Ch-ch-check out some pics (above and below)!

Yeah! More like the seven seas - and everything and anything in between!

The 282-foot monstrosity was built by Dutch shipyard Oceanco and designed by Nuvolari Lenard Design. It was modeled to Spielberg's specifications - which include an interior design scheme of walnut, teak and rosewood, as well as an infinity pool with a 15 ft. glass wall that doubles as an EFFING CINEMA SCREEN.

It accomodates 12 guests and a crew of 26, including a private owner's deck "centered on a large master stateroom with a study and private deck area with a jacuzzi."

And for good measure, there's a heli-pad, a fully equipped gym, a spa and massage room, and another indoor cinema!

Wait a second - so there's not a full production studio somewhere on that thing to produce his next flick? Because we can't imagine he'd ever want to leave that palace!

We certainly wouldn't! LOLz!

holy pirate target!! he must have a really good security crew!!

  2. 2

And we aren't taxing the rich more because…???!??!??!?!

  3. 3

the RICH need to STOP flaunting their wealth…or something real bad is going to happen…Remember"Let them eat Cake" didn't work out so well

  4. 4

    A pirate idea for sure!!

  5. 5

what a nice, overpriced carbon footprint.

Re: sayswho – EXACTLY - these glutonous pigs are no different than the Wall Street crooks. The directors/top billed actors of big budget films get away with millions, while 90% of the other actors and crew cannot pay thier bills.

And PS - this is another a-hole I don't want to hear preach about environmentalism and politics. Wonder how much foreign oil it takes to run that beauty.

And we wonder why our country is BROKE and turning to SHIT……
Stupid people making crazy amounts of money over a damn movie or playing a sport, meanwhile cops and firefighters and ANYONE that is actually useful to the world makes NOTHING….
ITS TRULY A SIN…. BUT I BET THEY LEFT THAT PART OUT OF THE BIBLE…..

  8. 8

Not bad, but not exactly spectacular. I've seen nicer.

  9. 9

    Sickening excess.

  10. 10

Ridiculous! I get being successful and buying yourself nice things, but this is insane! Couldn't this money be better spent? I'm sure he donates to charity, but no one needs this kind of luxury item. How many people could $200 million dollars help? I agree with others, people this wealthy need to pay much much higher taxes!

Re: jham – I could not agree with you more! Hollywood is always accusing corporate CEOs and Republicans of being rich greedy bastards who are only in the business of protecting their interests when actuality it is Hollywood who are the ones making the mega millions from their projects and investments. They have control of all media and can use this power to promote their agendas which in turn allows them to profit from their investments. I really wish people would wake up and start questioning Hollywood's motives and objectives. Also I know many more wealthy Democrats than Republicans. The Republicans I know are more working class.

  12. 12

    That's vulgar.

  13. 13

    DANG!

  14. 14

you people are such pathetic haters. This man worked HARD for his money as did many other rich people and they therefore deserve to spend it or flaunt it any which way they want to. Its not their fault that while they were working extra hard to build their wealth, your lazy assess were sleeping in and trolling the internet! Dont hate on them just because they are rich and you are poor.

  15. 15

    I'd rather be sailing.

  16. 16

    It's not big enough. LOL……

  17. 17

His yacht was in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on Friday… was blocking our view of the sunset during happy hour/dinner.

Re: chloenickolson – I'm not hating him, I actually agree with you. I just hate his rhetoric and Hollywood's hypocrisy with regards to their political agendas.

  19. 19

@yumba1 - fair enough. Its perfectly fine for them to be lavish but if they are going to hypocritical about it then thats a different story.

  20. 20

    Re: chloenickolson

I wonder how many devastated Japanese families could be permanently relocated and given back a home with 200 million dollars…

  24. 24

    That's 1/5th of a BILLION dollars…on a boat. Really??!?! I bet he's still not happy.

  25. 25

    soooo many jealous people! haha
