Aside from an executive producer position on 2000's If These Walls Could Talk 2, Ellen's previous film experience has been pretty much limited to acting and voice work.
Now, Ellen is ready to take on her first major producing role with Sing You Home, a film based on Jodi Picoult's best-selling novel, which "takes on the issues of in vitro fertilization, and gay rights."
Ellen will be producing this film along with Storyline partners Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who have been working on Broadway's How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying, which opens on Sunday.
Sounds like a wonderful project, which tackles very important issues! We're proud of you for being brave enough to take on a film with such heavy subject matter, Ellen.
We wish U the best of luck!
