Man Of Action! George Clooney Directing New Movie!

| Filed under: Film FlickersGeorge ClooneyRyan GoslingEvan Rachel Wood

Look at him work! We'd take direction from that Silver Fox any day!

George Clooney has always been known as a man of many talents and this weekend, he brought most of those skills with him too Ann Arbor, MI where he is starring, and directing the new film he wrote, The Ides Of March.

Yesterday, he was spotted with his crew and costars, Ryan Gossling and Evan Rachel Wood, on location, filming a few scenes between the two young actors.

Everyone looks so intense! They are just hanging on his every word!

Hopefully, his triple efforts will gain him triple the acclaim!

They all look so intense because it is still cold as balls here in Michigan!

I have been on the set for "The Ides Of March" 3 times now and I can say that George has been very pleasant and quite humorous! He knows how to keep everyone entertained. As for Evan Rachel Wood, not so much. Yes she is beautiful but, she did appear to be a bit stuck up and seemed to think she was better than everyone else. Ryan Gosling was a nice piece of eye candy but, he was very reserved and at times even seemed a bit paranoid, always making sure to have his "people" around him. Overall it has been an awesome experience!!

Re: Queen Jessi – You are right, It is STILL pretty cold here in lame ol' Michigan.

Re: Queen Jessi – It's only cold today. And - Perez JUST posted this?! Clooney has been here for at least 5 days already!

He was filming in Clawson, MI a few days ago. I used to live in Metro Detroit and worked in Clawson, so that was crazy to hear. It's such a small town; it's literally one square mile, so I couldn't believe that such a huge Hollywood star came to our little mom-and-pop town!

Aww, you didn't call her "Evan Rachel 'Whore'".

Love Ryan Gosling! So talented and handsome!

Re: New_Leaf7 – I don't know if you noticed but there's a new anti-bullying sentiment being adopted by many, including Perez. It's called "Avoid Being an Asshole Whenever Possible." Guess you haven't caught on yet.

Ryan looks like a young George Clooney. No wonder he cast him, he's a great actor too.

Hey, "Chuck Bass", are you saying Perez isn't bullying? You must not come here often you smarmy git!

I'm looking forward to seeing this one. "The Ides of March" is a political thriller about an idealistic political press aide, based on a play "Farragut North" by Beau Willimon, loosely based on the 2004 Howard Dean campaign where he worked.

Re: New_Leaf7 – You would think that on their payscale she might take care of her roots.

I hope this movie is better than "The American." The movie was so cheesie and self-indulgent — like a 2 hour CSI maimi.

Re: uyeah – I said "whenever possible" not "all the time." If being pleased that he isn't picking on ERW anymore makes me a smarmy git than I love and own it bitch!

Exsqueeze me? Silver Fox = Anderson Cooper, mkay?

Beau Willimon wrote it Perez! Clooney just wrote the screenplay that is completely based off the brilliant play written by Willimon!
