Looks like HBO is ready to re-ignite that flame with
Tony Soprano James Gandolfini.
Back in May, we heard word that HBO was partnering up with James to develop a US version of the French Canadian comedy Taxi-22.
Nothing seems to have come of that, but HBO's found a new project for James, which we think is perfect for him.
HBO Films has acquired the rights to the book (deep breath) Eating With the Enemy: How I Waged Peace With North Korea From My BBQ Shack in Hackensack, which was written by Bobby Egan and Kurt Pitzer.
James will star as Bobby Egan, the "owner of a Hackensack rib joint who became involved in back channel negotiations with North Korea to stop producing nuclear weapons."
Sounds really interesting! We'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this one.
Will U tune in for Gandolfini's return to Jersey on HBO?
