We're actually starting to really feel the lack of Jon Hamm in our lives. It kind of stings.
With summer vastly approaching, everyone is wondering why AMC has yet to announce a premiere date for the fifth season of Mad Men. There's a simple answer to that - they don't have one. Turns out, the network and creator Matthew Weiner have yet to settle on a deal.
At this point, the show remains in limbo because no agreement can be made on "the writer's room," according to Jon. But if a deal can't be met soon, then production will get delayed, if it isn't already.
A delay in production means a delay in the debut. It's that domino effect, you know.
AMC had no comment on their negotiations, but we're keeping our fingers crossed that that will soon change and we'll have news to share soon. We don't think it will get scrapped, but it might take longer than any of us want it to be in the presences of Don Draper again.
