tom arnold talks true lies 2

Tom Arnold is saying that True Lies 2 is in the works, but we've been hearing A LOT of news to the contrary lately.

Back in September, we heard that James Cameron was reportedly producing a TV series spin-off of his 1994 film True Lies.

Earlier this month, we heard that Arnold Schwarzenegger was offered roles in reboots of a bunch of his classic films, but True Lies wasn't mentioned.

Then earlier today, we heard that Arnold's next project is an international TV series.

Here's what True Lies actor Tom Arnold is saying about True Lies 2 becoming a reality:

"We [Arnold and Schwarzenegger] have both read the script. There is a script that James Cameron and a guy named Jeff Eastin, who created the TV show White Collar, wrote. It is really great. Jim can't direct it. But he can produce it. We hope it gets done. We have a few fun things we want to do. I am supposed to remain cool about this. For me, it would be a lot of fun to work with the guys again."

Sounds to us like you're seriously jumping the gun by mentioning this, Tom. Words like "wishful thinking" come to mind, but hey…maybe it'll happen. We'll keep an ear out for True Lies 2 updates!

Do U think True Lies 2 is in the works? Or is Tom Arnold being overzealous and NOT remaining cool?

And you don't jump the gun every single day with your begging to be a judge on one show or another or to be on this show or on that show. Your so pathetic it's unbelieveable. Your still a big jerk. Stop picking on the old ppl. Your mother is an old person and soon some day you will be one too. Have some respect will you please.

Tom Arnold gets on my nerves. We wouldn't even know who he was if not for Rosanne. He owes her a debt of gratitude. We owe her a kick in the hiney. :-)
