But this time, it won't be on Glee. (Well, we shouldn't say that…never say never, right?)
Sources reveal that Matthew Morrison has some heavy-hitters helping out on his solo album, which is due out this May. Along with a little help from Elton John (really?), Matthew will also have a feature duet on the album with none other than his current Glee love interest, Gwyneth Paltrow!
Matthew reveals the pair will be singing his "signature" song, Over The Rainbow, as a duet, which was something he was adamant about doing before Gwyn even signed on. He explains:
“The hardest part of doing this album was asking these people favors, like Elton [John] and her…People kind of know me for that song now. I wanted to do a duet with a female. I thought that was a good song to do, and we really did a different arrangement of it. It’s a lot of strings, and it’s beautiful.”
Looking forward to hearing it! We really liked his rendition of the song during Glee's season one finale.
Oh, yeah. They have done it already. So maybe we won't hear their duet on the show. Guess you'll just have to pick up the album! (See how they did that there?)
