sick seems like shes trying to make it seem like she wasnt out of line! listen to his side n his apology he was shocked!
N! she did not! talk about his album! all she wanted to talk about was the negative! and he was the one trying to change the subject to his ALBUM! which she kept changing back to the rihanna thing! :s

ok let's let shit shit go, rihanna isnt complaining. She's moved on, this is 2yrs old perez stfu already. Im not even chris and im tired of ppl bringing it up! There's ppl dying in wars, ppl are starving in 3rd world countries, let's talk about that. Not 2yrs old news, leave the guy alone Geez!

There taking the piss, she's acting like she weren't trying to corner him for unnecessary answers, it was cringe worthy watching her push and push… & what does she mean he should have took the opportunity to "explain himself". Explain what, is that what he came there to do, he's explained that situation a million time, give the guy a break & move the hell on. No wonder he's frustrated by these idiots. How long does he have to go over the damn thing. What he did was wrong but it happened two years ago and everyone makes mistakes, jeeze. There so frickin annoying. I would have just walked off.

Even though I think Chris's reaction was excessive, I have to say that watching the interview I felt really uncomfortable. She kept pushing the issue even though he really made it clear he was there to talk about his album (and more than once). She acted like a bully.

  5. 5

She was MAJORLY pushing him during the interview but he still should have kept his cool. He has to realize people are going to ask him about this no matter how much time has passed which is a shame but being gracious goes a long way.

  6. 6

Yes it was two years ago, there is NO defending him for Domestic Violence. The domestic assault conviction was recorded. We tell our youth violence, bullying is wrong. He took responsibility for his actions. Be a man - acknowledge tell the world you have grown up and it was wrong. Be the roll model. NO take a hissy fit, tear your shirt off like the hulk, brake private property. ONCE again he has shown the world he still has violent outbursts. Time for everyone to stop worshipping celebrities. Look to more human heros … teachers, police, fireman, nurses, hard working labourers, or your elders. People who "really" matter in society.

Personally I think Robin Roberts did nothing that he didn't do on his own to make the situation awkward. We (audience) buy into these celebrity magazines and gossip sites, so its unfair to blame one person. He certainly has anger issues that has not been confronted and he seems to hide them by promoting his album.

Professionalism. Of course he personally has moved on from the incident, but publicly it needs to be heard. Not to bully him, but to hear his thoughts and for him to reflect on his past. I think it's a great question to ask any artist of their mistakes, he is deemed a role leader for up coming artists. He made the decision to use violence at least he should live up to his past actions. Honestly Chris made the situation bigger than it was, obviously he isn't over the issue.

Yeah, Chris Brown's actions were wrong, obviously, but damn the secondhand embarrassment I felt when Robin Roberts wouldn't stop pressing him REPEATEDLY about the incident… It was obvious he was getting really angry too. She simply didn't get the hint that he didn't want to talk about it AND that it added NOTHING to the interview. There's "standing your ground" and then there's being a bad interviewer. Roberts is the latter. She often gets shit wrong with the guests she interviews, which is annoying as fuck, but she always keeps it up and keeps it up with asking the same damn thing. As if the answer will change. What exactly did she expect him to say that would be so earth-shatteringly different than when it first happened? And when she kept touching his knee to get his attention back - she needed to stop.

Sure, Perez, journalistic 'integrity', if journalistic integrity REALLY involves asking a young guy who certainly could be assumed to be still hurting inside whether or not 'he's seen' Rihanna since the restraining order was lifted. (maybe he still loves her, did anyone ever think of that) First, that's nobody's business. Unless, of course, you're poking for a viral scoop. Secondly, 'they didn't realize' that it's insensitive as hell, considering everything he (and Rihanna) have been through, plus the likely fact that he might still have feelings for her but has perhaps been blocked from seeing her either by the former order or by Rihanna herself. Gossip integrity involves seeing if any sh*t shakes loose. He's no angel, and he's struggling, but goading with leading questions isn't necessarily integrity. Call it what it really is.

  10. 10

I totally think Robin PUSHED over and over…his reaction was childish but the first time she asked he made it clear - he was ready to move forwards. 2nd time he was sort of getting irked….third time…? He began the meltdown…I could tell he was mad and I could tell he was frustrated. He is so young…and I do feel that this interview was supposed to be about the album…for Robin to say she brought up the restraining order because it was a good thing for him is so one sided. He wanted to discuss music ONLY….and well, she pushed and he acted out.

  11. 11

Re: designer_trig – It was a lousy interview. She was taking advantage of him…Professionalism? She was not reading the body language of her guest and she needed to stop. She was wrong. Sure a young 20 something makes mistakes. I am sure you didn't live the purest of lives and made mistakes. We all do. I think being in the spotlight makes it worse. I think what he did to Rhianna was wrong. Do I need to hear it from him - I already did on 20/20 or was it Dateline - shortly after the incident. He has a music career and he is talented. He also is young and needs to grow up but destroying him in public is not the answer.

  12. 12

lol common perez, chris breezy turn u down or somethin? hop off him

  13. 13

Robin is older and wiser, she PUSSSSSSSHHED that issue and he kept trying to get away from it, it was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. Robin should have known better. Not to excuse CB but i can see how he lost his cool, he is young and in his head for his age, he probably thinks its all in the past since he publicly apologized, did his comm service and reprimanded publicly..when u are young thats how your mind thinks.. BUT i think Robin should have been more professional and known when to back off. To compare her CANCER to this is absurd, she doesnt promote albums or sing, thats not her job! he allowed her to bring it up BUT not make it the only topic, which is what she did. She makes it seem like its open season to talk abt EVERY time he comes out w/ a project..i dont condone what he did but team CB!

  14. 14

OK SO BASICALLY THE INCIDENT IN HIS DRESSING COULD'VE HAD NOTHING AT ALL TO DO WITH THE INTERVIEW CAUSE NO ONE KNOWS WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. ALL THEY KNOW IS THAT A WINDOW WAS BROKEN AND ANYONE IN HIS DRESSING ROOM COULD'VE BROKEN THAT

  15. treek says – reply to this

    15

    SHE IS SO WRONG.
    TEAM CHRIS!!!!!

  16. 16

    Agree with missmagz 100%.

  17. 17

I agree that the interview should've been soley focused on his album, however, Chris Brown still has EXCESSIVE anger problems and I would never buy his CD. I refuse to support a "singer" who literally beat the shit out of a woman. There is NO excuse for that, and I do not forgive that kind of behavior.

  18. 18

the questions she asked were pre-approved. so he approved those questions for the interview, and then when actually asked about them behaved like a total gorilla, smashing a window with glass falling out onto the street :S and then ripped off his vest/wifebeater. LOL… if u beat up someone that's bad enough, but he was stupid enough to beat up a very famous person.. NO SHIT that's gona haunt u your whole life…

  19. 19

Re: buhwahdmoda – very well said. i totally agree with u. then u have all these folks insinuating that his violence was justified. he broke a freakin window and a thick one at that (almost as thick as his skull).damn, alot of chris brown fans here that dont want to believe that he is nothing more than a ghetto thug with money. nothing more and nothing less. and gayle king is right. he did seem dismissive. probably due to the fact that in his mind HE is the victim.

    20

Nice acting. He got the attention, now buy his new album. That's the reason for all of it.

  21. 21

I think it's kind of funny that he's the one feeling cornered now. And by a woman. Teehee! Sad that he reacts so violently way though. Seriously lil man- no need to smash shit up. You're not four anymore! Tantrums are for kids.

I do get that he was there to plug his album, and she shouldn't have pushed it (maybe) if that's ALL they agreed to discuss, but no doubt she had a producer in her ear telling her to push the one question he approved relating to the incident with Rihanna. I say 'maybe' because personally I think when you beat the shit out of the person you claim to love, you should have to talk about why you did it. Don't bug the fuck out because you felt cornered. But I aint Chris Brown and I aint Robin so what I think doesn't matter. You do you, Chris Brown. Keep having tantrums and fucking fits because you can't handle things like an adult- maybe your fans will be around when you finally grow up.

  22. 22

why are they all coddling this little hood like he is a baby???
the guy should be arrested and made to do community service until he learns how to address what he did in a mature responsible manner

  23. 23

Gail- you raccoon looking bitch- he does not have to keep apologizing- he has done that over and over. Go somewhere and continue to sniff Oprah's ass like you always have. Her ass can't get a show on any other network.

  24. 24

Robin is a BULLY! Chris Brown was clearly uncomfortable with her line of questioning and she just kept picking at that nerve, over and over and completely disregarding his efforts to focus the conversation on his music.

Robin Bully lost a lot of credibility for not owning up to the fact that she pushed him too far with her nosy questions! Stupid girl!

  25. 25

She was NOT pushing him! She moved on, then Chris made the comment about "Enemies" and "haters" so she reminded him that obviously those "haters" had SOMETHING to be a little turned off by.

Chris Brown is NOT a victim, and he's not a child. Stop making excuses for him. He has issues.

  26. 26

why is everyone at gma feeling bad for him? the way he reacted is not ok. if it was me in there busting a window, they would have the cops in there ion 2 minutes. i am sick of people giving him a free pass. i say let matt lauer interview him. he will probably set the building on fire if that happens!

  27. 27

i love the his latest album, actually have loved all his album, but this one took it to another level. i care for the talent really care less what he does in his private life.

  28. 28

I am by no means defending Chris Brown's actions, and he needs to do something to get a grip, but my gut tells me that he still loves Rihanna. I think a lot of the uncontrolled anger that he feels NOW comes from being so angry with himself for destroying or severely damaging his relationship with her.
