Carrie Fisher Remembers Her Stepmother, Elizabeth Taylor
Didn't know that, did ya? Probably before your time.
Last night, Carrie Fisher appeared on Piers Morgan Tonight to talk about the passing of her stepmother, Elizabeth Taylor. When Liz married Carrie's father, Eddie Fisher, Carrie was only three years old. Liz and Eddie divorced only after a few years together, but Carrie still maintained a relationship with her after the split.
In remembering her friend, Carrie spoke of her kindness and warmth and Carrie's own sadness over losing such an important person in her life. Then, she tells this great story about going on a "double date" with Liz, Shirley MacLaine…and Michael Jackson!
Oh yeah! It happened!
Check out the video (above) to hear Carrie retell the tale! It's a really good one!

That is a cute story. Even though its sad that she has passed. I am sure she is in good company. She is now with her best friend Michael J. R.I.P MJ and ET
They say when two people are really close, love each other and one passes away. It does not take two long for the other to soon follow after expecially when there health is also in decline. I am not stating this as a fact just something I have seen and read about.
"Didn't know that, did ya? Probably before your time."
What's with the haughty attitude? I would venture to say that most people who haven't spent their lives living under rocks would know about it. To this day it's still one of the most talked about Hollywood scandals.
Re: JLa – I have heard that too and yes I love the story pretty cool that they got along despite the affair and her mother is a classy lady I read her statement about Elizabeth Taylor it was sweet. On a side note did you hear Perez that those ppl at that church that protest soldiers funeral said they plan to protest Liz Taylor funeral? Because she supported the gay community and did charity work for HIV/aids they are sick people.
aww, cute story! thanks for posting, Perez!
I honestly was just as sad when micheal died, she was the reason why i fell in love with cinema and why i want to do film. I never got the obsession with kids today with Maryln Monroe and i doubt they ever saw a film of her, but this lady was the uptime of celebrity and the platform of what celebs were doing. she was the first celeb you wanted to smell like
she just intrigues me and i hope i could do some kind of tribute to her.
