It could just as easily be another word that the baby was trying to say and it came out like that. I was teaching my daughter to say "truck" as she was playing with some tonka trucks and it came out "fuck". because it was a new word she would say it constantly for a couple of days and then she dropped it. I would try to correct her and do so in public when she saw anything that resembled a truck and she would still say "fuck". It's just a phase.

It was so friggin hilarious, I made sure to feed him a popsicle whenever his parent's weren't looking. Lighten up people! Who the hell are you to judge the parent's based on a 30 second clip?? One of the worst things an adult can do is laugh in front of a young child that cusses. I am 34 and I remember when I was around 5 my mom and her friends cussed constantly around me. I had trouble getting my socks on one day and said "I can't get these damn socks on!" My mom's friend laughed because I said "damn" because she was laughing so hard, I didn't know I was saying a word a 5 year old shouldn't say. My mom's friend then proceeded to come up and slap me really hard across the face for saying a bad word.
Bottom line, if you let a kid see you giggle when they do something they aren't supposed to, they will think it is okay to do so.

When will parents learn that the proper way to correct a child is NOT BY ASKING THEIR PERMISSION. You don't say, "We don't say that anymore, OKAY?" Stop with the OKs and just state the correct behavior. When a parent adds the OK at the end, they are simply trying to get approval from the child. All the child hears is "OK". It is not an efficient way to teach anybody anything. But parents won't discipline properly because that's too much work. And that's why kids are running all over stores touching everything, spreading the PLAGUE.
Oh come on people, it is funny when your child first says a cuss word because it catches you off guard, but seriously what kid hasn't said something like this who has parents who swear….. sheesh people are WAY too judgmental anymore.
