Portman's Dance Double Slams Her With "5 Percent" Claim

| Filed under: Film FlickersNatalie PortmanOscars

What Are Portman's Real Dancing Statistics?

The dancing double ballerina for Natalie Portman is tired of being hushed about how much dancing she did in the movie, and is now speaking out about it.

This comes after we brought you the news of Natalie's instructor/baby daddy/fiancée defending Natalie and how much she actually did in the movie.

So how much does the double, Sarah Lane, claim the actress did?

“Of the full body shots, I would say 5 percent are Natalie. All the other shots are me.”

That's a HUGE difference from what we heard from the instructor (he said 85%).

Lane obviously disagrees:

“The shots that are just her face with arms, those shots are definitely Natalie,” she says. “But that doesn’t show the actual dancing.”

Lane also claims that producer Ari Handel specifically told her to keep her mouth shut:

“They wanted to create this idea in people’s minds that Natalie was some kind of prodigy or so gifted in dance and really worked so hard to make herself a ballerina in a year and a half for the movie, basically because of the Oscar,” says Lane. “It is demeaning to the profession and not just to me. I’ve been doing this for 22 years…. Can you become a concert pianist in a year and a half, even if you’re a movie star?”

But, even if this is all true, Lane doesn't harbor any jealous or anger toward the Oscar award winning actress. In fact, she thinks she did a wonderful job:

“I do give her a lot of credit because in a year and a half she lost a lot of weight and she really tried to go method and get into a dancers head and really feel like a ballet dancer. [Natalie] is an amazing actress, for sure,” she says. “I know that it’s not a personal thing against me. I know that it’s just a political thing. It’s just unfortunate that I kind of lost credit.”

Wow. We're not sure what to believe. We do know that they have the technology and means to superimpose Natalie's face over Lane's, but it'd be nice to really hear an accurate account of who did the representation in the film.

A lot of the reasons Natalie won, to us, were the scene outside of the dancing, and the emotion she conveyed through her acting and facial expressions. It wasn't ALL about the dancing for us.

Who do U think is the real dancing-star of the movie??

    Who cares!!!!!

  2. 2

    Sour grapes. Who cares

  3. 3

totatlly agree with you .. she didnt win the oscar just because of the dancing

  4. 4

As a former ballet dancer I found it VERY hard to believe that Natalie was able to accomplish that level of skill and technique in just a little over a year of "dancing". Sure she might have taken classes when she was a kid but to execute what was on film takes YEARS of practice and dedication.

I also noticed the upper body shots vs full body shots and that is done mostly so we don't see that there was indeed a body double. If you watch the movie again you can clearly tell what they were trying to capture and hide all at the same time. Film makers have been doing this for years in movies where actors play dancers. Just like lip-syncing and voice matching is done in movies and cartoons when the actor can't carry a tune.

There is absolutely no way she could learn or re-learn that level of technique within a year.

  5. 5

They have the videos out of the making and show them changing the face from the dancer to Natalie. They also change head angles and everything. Not much in the movie is actual, besides this gal doing the dancing.

  6. 6

Really? Who cares…there are so many more important things happening in the world. Get over it

  7. 7

This is so stupid. Natalie won an Oscar for ACTING. She's an actress. I can't believe anyone actually thinks actors actually do the things people see in a movie. people jump out windows and leap over walls, and have sex in movies. But it is pretend. it is not real.

I never ever thought she learned how to dance like a real ballerina for Black Swan. She trained for 18 months so she would be convincing, and so she would understand that world. This girl is just trying to get attention. All actors use doubles. If someone told the girl not to say stuff last year, they were doing it because it is unprofessional. It would be like the double Matt Damon used in The Fighter wanting to get credit when the movie came out. A huge part of a movie is to give people the illusion, and to make it seem real. If you want real, go to a ballet.

  8. 8

Hollywood is all smoke & mirrors so not surprising. Nat's problems are just beginning though. B/c you KNOW Mr. Thousand Feet will be suing her for all she's worth eventually. He's the next KFed!!

  9. 9

this is any kind of news? the hollywood illusion machine keeps chugging along!!

  10. 10

    Re: carmel1024

With all the important things going on in the world..why are you taking the time to check this site? I say, you get over it. This dancer deserves credit.

  11. 11

Who knows, but she better shut up if she wants to be promoted from soloist to principal. Is she still a hardcore Christian?

  12. 12

Stunt/Body doubles never get the credit the deserve…

  13. 13

Its ALL about the dancing, its a form of expression, its a form of art, its passion, its love, its dramatic, its theatre. She wasn't playing the dancer in a Cheerleader chick flick, she was both the black and white swan….in black swan.

We might as well turning into an internet viral flash video where we all paste pictures of our faces on dancing silhouettes and each one of us claims an Oscar.

    Give it to Michelle Williams.

  14. 14

Re: zenseed75 – she got credit in the actual credits…she wants attention. body doubles and stunt men don't usually go around crying that they weren't given props..it's BS.

  15. sanaa says – reply to this

Natalie Hershlag is an inarticulate Zionist piglet that faked her way through college and whose claim to fame is playing lolitas and sluts on film, she's been getting eaten out on screen since the age of 13.

  16. 16

Re: lemonbird – I meant Mark Wahlberg. I always get Matt Damon and Mark wahlberg's names mixed up, but I know who I mean! LOL!

  17. 17

Who cares? It's a fucking movie. Body doubles are used all the time so what? The best part of the acting did not even involve dancing, so stop trying to make trouble fatback

  18. 18

I mean, if your job is a stunt/body double, you should already know going in that you're going to be uncredited. Why is she trying to make Natalie look bad and then praise her? Clearly she just wants attention.

Also, Natalie deserved the Academy Award for her acting, not for her dancing. Sure the dancing was great in the few scenes she actually full on danced, but we were all focused on her incredible acting performance and dedication.

  19. 19

I think that it doesnt matter weather or not she danced.she was nominated for her acting not for her dance moves. This should only be a backdrop to the actual story.

  20. 20

The woman should do herself a favor and shut her mouth already. She was paid to work on a Natalie Portman movie as a double. She did her work and now she wants more credit. Sorry babe, the movie had dancing but it was about the characters and a lot of trained dancers could have done your bit. So stop moaning, shut up and try not to think about how many bridges you've burnt.

  21. 21

Actually, Jennifer Beale did ALL the dancing.

  22. 22

    Re: sanaa
    Jealous much?

  23. 23

leave natalie portman alone! this "ballerina" is just trying to milk her 15 minutes of fame. let´s not pay attention to her. like if natalie portman won for her dancing, she did because of the acting. did the ballerina act? NO. so get the fuck over with it.

  24. 24

I think no one really gives a crap. It's a movie. EVERYONE knows that Hollywood and movie making are all about creating an illusion.

  25. 25

Sarah Lane?? I was in Giselle with her 2 yrs ago. One of the best dancers I've ever seen. Give her the money as she's probably right.

  26. VGirl says – reply to this

of course! I don't know if 5% but I know she had to have a double. I loved Natalie in the movie she deserved the oscar, but anyone who has done ballet knows you CAN'T get that good in year and a half ! but she did learn a lot you could see it. Some shots you could really see it was here and she had great posture and was doing a great job it was incredible!

  27. 27

Re: La Vaquera Uhm actually not…She was nominated for a Golden Globe and the film received an Academy Award for Best Song. Many of Beals' elaborate dance moves were actually performed by stunt double Marine Jahan….its been well documented that she required a double. Now as for the topic at hand, this giurl is doing herself no favors by talking about 5, 10 or whatever percent she seems to think she performed she wasnt hired to BE the star of the show, she was hired as the dance double, so she did her job she got paid, what more does she want???? Natalie to give her the Oscar??? fugggetaboutitalready

  28. 28

This kerfluffle is so predictable, just like in a bad movie. And if Lane was hired, paid, and agreed to keep quiet about the details of her participation, she certainly is not behaving professionally now. (And no one has more respect for dancers than I do. She's right about the 22 years.)

  29. 29

Well, there goes that dancers career in ever making another dance movie, If the silly trick was paid for doubling and dancing then you did your job. It strikes me as odd that it's a total surprise to her… she is trying to bleed Portman's Oscar. Last time I checked there was no Oscars handed out for doubling, the girl knew she was going to be used, I think we all know Portman is not a dancer, the doubling is to bring the character to life, giving her more depth but this "Dancer" is truly a bad sport, she just ruined herself. I would have been happy to POP lock for portman and they don't even have to mention me, just the chance to be part of something that epic, what a dumb ass she is… Boop!

  30. 30

I don't think this is another case of sour grapes or anything like that. It really just seems like this body double/ballet dancer is frustrated for not getting the credit she deserved. Natalie's fiance is going around telling everyone that Natalie did 85% of the dancing — well, what if she really only did 5%? If I was that body double I'd be pretty mad! All my hard work being ignored. She just wants credit for HER role in the movie. Plus, I really believe that part of the allure of Black Swan and all the press it got was because the filmmakers put so much effort into making us believe that Natalie went through some rigorous training program and miraculously acquired all these ballet skills in a year's time. Totally unfair and misleading.

  31. 31

She didnt train for a year and a half to do an entire damn performance. She trained to do the parts that she needed to do in the film. She is not going on broadway anytime soon to do the Nutcracker or anything like that. That dumbass is just jeolous and trying to grasp to some kind of fame she thinks she deserves. The routines just proved that Portmans character was a dancer, her acting and portrayl is what won her the Oscar. She deserved it.

  32. ed69 says – reply to this

somebody please shut this bitch up.. shes annoying.

  33. 33

Natalie was able to complete that form of technique in just over a couple of months? UH NO. Give credit where credit is due, in and this case it is towards the stunt double. The instructor/ fiancee is never going to say "OH HEY! Your right! It was all the stunt double" Uh no. Stunt double, body double, any type of double…they need to be given the right CREDIT!

  34. 34

First Huckabee's slam re. the bastard baby, now this!

The bigger they are, the harder they fall..

  35. 35

i beleive the ballerina there was alot of arms and spinning from natalie
there is no way she could be real but she did play a good role she deserve the oscar but she shouldnt play into a farce about her being a ballerina shes a actress besides that was ""inception"" the girl also pretended to be a professional dancer same things alot of arm spins etc

  36. 36

Re: DawnE8199 – so what. Natalie is the protagonist of the movie, and what Im interested anyway is her acting not her dancing. They could rip off all that dance from the movie and I would still like it.

  37. 37

What not a lot of people understand is the politics that go into the Oscars. Natalie Portman and Darren Arfonsky were constantly boasting that she did ALL OF THE DANCING. Acting and losing 20lbs is hard enough, but why do you have to lie.

  38. 38

Re: HipsterManiac – so WHAT, she was paid to be a DOUBLE. Like someone said, she got credited in the movies. That should be enough to get her more job out there. She should just shut up, noone likes to work with a talk-trash. This whole thing will end up backfiring her.

  39. 39

Re: carmel1024 – and you came to this gossip site to hear about the important things happening in the world? LOL

  40. rsvp says – reply to this

I believe her. It happens all the time. What about the controversy over Flashdance? And, what about all the stuntmen and women who aren't given due credit? It's like when you do a group project, though, and you do a substantial amount of work and others get the actual glory. So, it's a close call. If they didn't make such outrageous claims, she'd probably be more ok with it.

  41. @v@ says – reply to this

Re: JeremyLN – A year and a half isn't enough to learn how to be a ballerina. That's like training to become a classical pianist in a year and a half. Sarah Lane has learned to dance over 22 years. I doubt she's jealous. She sounds like she prefers truth to smoke and mirrors for Oscar.

  42. 42

    BREAKING NEWS: We don't care.

  43. esj says – reply to this

the reason to lie about using the double is political. i've seen this movie and rabbit hole and i believe nicole kidman should have won. natalie and her producers made a big propaganda to snatch the coveted award whatever it takes. and the winner is….nicole kidman (rightfully so)! time will tell.

  44. Ast says – reply to this

The cat was already out of the bag this award season. I think it was during the Oscars that they showed an extended clip on the special effects in the Black Swan and showed numerous shots of how Natalie's face was superimposed on a body double, so it was pretty obvious then that Natalie's part in the dancing had been greatly exaggerated.

  45. 45

as soon as she gives birth and he finds another homewrecker to shack up with, he WILL be saying that natalie actually only did 5% of the dancing. then he is going to clean out her accounts. kfed 2.0

  46. 46

she deserves what she got and only that. A paycheck.

  47. 47

That bitch is just so fucking jealous and bitter.

  48. 48

Hey you in the tutu…yeah you, sniveling little ungrateful bitch. Break a leg, no wait, make that two…

  49. 49

This chick's unfortunately making a joke of herself by complaining. She got hired to do a job & she did it. Time to shut the fuck up & move on.

  50. 50

why does she feel the need to take credit for her double's work?? clearly there is NO WAY she was able to master ballet in that short a timeframe…it is obvious to ANYONE who has taken ballet before that she would not have been able to do so.
I guess she realised that she needed to make such claims in order to clinch the oscar, as her acting alone was nowhere near oscar winning level.
she got the oscar because of who she knows and the fact that her name is recognisable and she has 'paid her dues' so to speak. She is not a very good actress, and this film was one of her poorest performances yet.

I believe the ballet dancer on this one, 100%. Her husband can defend her all he likes, but I am not buying any of it.

  51. 51

This dancer is foolish to be making a big thing out of this…it is a movie and they do whatever it takes to make a product! By complaining this dancer will be lucky to ever work again in such a manner.

  52. 52

this lady won't get a double stunt job anymore.. no one will hire you again stfu

  53. 53

That dancer needs to STFU. If we cared about her dancing, we would go to the ballet to see her rather than go to a Natalie movie. NEXT!

  54. 54

IF the dancing is going to be talked about then the Truth should be told. The Reality is that is would take someone YEARS of training to be able to dance the way shown in the movies. People in charge are going to make Natalie look bad if they insist on lying about her work in the film. She is an actress and a great one at that, she did her best to look and play the part of a ballerina. What would the movie look like without the body double? Give credit where credit is due, not like the public doesnt already grasp the ideas of body-doubles and special effects.

  55. 55

is this really a serious issue?? Then all stunt people should sue and demand credit??

  56. 56

what kind of journalist are you? you did not even name the movie ONCE in the entire article. don't assume everybody knows what you're talking about.

  57. 57

Please tell me who writes most of this crap now? It's time for Perez to hang it up as far as this site is concerned. I do no begrudge him whatever other success he has. What percentage of this crap does Perez write at this point? Perhaps it's 5%, but I've heard from the actual person who does the writing that she writes as much as 85%. Wow, we're not sure what to believe. A lot of the reasons we used to read this was because of the unique voice of Perez. Who do you think is the real writer of this? Whose team are you on? Do you see where I'm going with this? BTW, I don't really give a rat's ass who did the dancing. They should just be honest about it and give credit where credit is due. Hello Flash Dance, My fair Lady, etc., etc.

  58. 58

I agree with the double. There's just no way Natalie could have become just a wonderful dancer in such a small amount of time. That being said, I really don't care how much either one of them danced. Is there anyone out there who actually thought it was Natalie dancing anyway??

  59. 59

The ballerina definately won't be hired anymore for being a body double / stunt double anymore. Now if this had not won any prizes, would she be complaining?

  60. 60

Seriously? When you sign up as a double YOU DO NOT GET CREDIT - end of story. Everyone knows this going in. Dancers especially get used in film medium specifically for their dance talent and a true professional would keep quiet and the illusion alive. By the way, this "scandal" is nothing new. Flashdance 1983!

  61. 61

This asshole needs to shut the heck up. She got paid for her services and now wants her 15 minutes. While watching the movie, I never thought that Natalie did all the dancing. She won an Oscar for her acting not the dancing.

  62. 62

Dance credit should go to the ballerina! Natalie got an Oscar for her acting, not her dancing. The lie supposedly benefits the film. That's the way Hollywood goes and happens all the time… After Flashdance, Jennifer Beals surprised everyone by admitting much of her dancing was done by someone else - that's not what the studio had been saying. Credit should go where it truly belongs. It does not detract from Natalie or Black Swan…

  63. 63

Exactly. It doesn't matter; she's an actress, the dancing was a backdrop for her story, if Nina had been a singer or an actress with the same issues Natalie still would have won the Oscar.

  64. 64

if the girl wants more credit for her work then maybe she should do something more with her life than being a body double .. just saying.

  65. 65

I'd put an asterisk next to her Oscar.

  66. 66

Stunt/body doubles know what they are signing up for! It's called ACTING for a reason. That woman needs to take ownership of the fact that she new what she was getting in to— you don't like it, don't sign up to be part of the movie!

  67. 67

Its obvious Natalie couldn't have got to that level of skill in such a short time. If her fiancee and the producer were so secure that it's the acting that got her the acclaim then they wouldn't have a problem admitting the heavy use of the double.

  68. 68

She just trying to garner attention. This would have been the dancers chance to break out into the business and now no one will want to work with her. Stupid girl! Besides - Natalie studied ballet till she was like 12 so she is well aware of it and has stayed in shape so I'm sure a lot of it she was able to learn again, especially after spending 1.5 yrs studying it again.

  69. 69

I think the dancer is not so much personally offended that she's not getting credit for all the dancing, but because the people who are claiming it was mostly Natalie, by acting as if she was able to get to that level in a year and a half, are sort of denigrating the dance profession. It does take years and years, especially with ballet, for a dancer to get to that level. I would be annoyed too.

  70. kklkj says – reply to this

whether Natalie did the dancing or not is not the problem. I dont even care if the dance double gets credit or not. The thing that is wrong is the fact that producers actually hushed up the double so they could build up a certain image in order to push Natalie towards an Oscar… THAT was what's wrong.

Of course Hollywood always does that because they all want awards, I just dont think Black Swan needed to… I mean, natalie would have won anyway because of her acting, no need to play dirty.

  71. 71

no one cares, the movie was fantastic…thats what matters

  72. 72

Sure it doesn't change her acting in the movie. But it adds credibility and dedidcation to the part, kinda like Hillary Swank in Million Dollar Baby.
I'd be extremely annoyed if I wasn't receiving enough credit for my contribution for a film, or anything. I want to be acknowledged for my work and I'm sure everybody here would want that too. So I understand why she's doing this (NB: She was credited as dancer in lane, not body double). Plus, from what I heard, it's not the first time that dancers don't ge the credit they deserve in movies (i.e. Flashdance).
Oh, here's the kicker: DVD coming out this week. What a coincidence! (sarcasm)

  73. 73

the dancer was not a body double or a stunt woman..
that's sort of insulting to her.
    She was "the dancer"!
and she's a excellent professionally trained ballet dancer
the way I see it if anyone was a "body double" it was Natalie Portman- dieting to get her body to resemble this woman's
the dancer agreed to letting them substitute Natalie's face and I don't blame her for wanting her full credit that is due her
her famiy/friends must have been frustrated hearing that she didn't do so much knowing full well that she had
Debbie Reynolds was the "voice double" some might say
but I say she was really "the voice"!!

  74. 74

She deserves credit but the movie SUCKED.Overrated.

  75. 75

omg all who people bitching about who cares, first you read the shit and are being a bitch after wards.. 2nd you happen to be on a gossip site that focussed on entertainment..if you want substantial news go to CNN or FOX News whatever floats your boat. This was an entertainment news. NEWS!! NEWS!!! NEWS!!! CONCERNING ENTERTAINMENT

  76. 76

I see why Sarah is ratting Natalie out. It's because Natalie is getting ALL of the attention on how "amazing" her dancing was, and how CRAZY it is that she learned every thing in less than two years. Sarah Lane is receiving absolutely no credit and she probably regrets even accepting her role as a double.

  77. 77

If that isn't shooting yourself in the foot about getting more jobs, I don't know what is. When you want to be a body/action/dance double, they want discretion, not some woman shouting from the rooftops that the leading actress of the movie can't do what the double can do. If she could've, there would be no need for the double.

Have fun fading into obscurity because no studio wants a blabbermouth.

  78. 78

Whatever. These ballet dancers writing in to complain about NP are being foolish. No one is stupid enough to think that she is some "accomplished" legit - professional Ballet dancer. She is an actress that played a part in a film and her job was to make it convincing - which she did. YOUR INDUSTRY SHOULD BE GRATEFUL THAT SHE DID THIS MOVIE BECAUSE BALLET IS ARCHAIC IN TODAY'S MAINSTREAM SOCIETY AND THIS FILM HAS BROUGHT ABOUT A RENEWED INTEREST AND MADE IT COOL. The average person gives a rats ass about how "technically perfect" she was - just that the film was good and she played the role well. You really need to get off your high horses and be thankful that a good film involving the ballet industry was made. Jamie Foxx portrayed Ray Charles in a film and did that well too - so is the Ray Charles estate going to write in an bitch that there is "no way he could have possibly recreated Ray in such a short time" BS? Get over yourselves. Your ticket sales will go up because of this film. And the public knows movies can make ANYONE look any way they want on the editing floor anyway. This body double sounds like an ingrate to me. You don't see the body double bitching from Flash Dance. Everyone eventually knew that Jennifer Beals had a body/dance double. Seriously get over your eliitist attutude and get over it.

  79. 79

    Re: *Sloane
she knows what she signed up for.
she's trying to get her 15 minutes.

  80. 80

Portmans fiancée said 85% of the film is her. Not that 85% of the dancing was her. There wasn't that much dance anyways. But the dancer was specific 5% of body shots dancing. I bet they're both right. Sucks the dancer was credited as a hand model. Ballet is very hard nobody can just go en pointe just because.

  81. 81

Natalie Portman is how pregnant and yet this bitch feels it necessary to cause a very pregnant Portman this much drama about something that the majority of the world don't give a damn about? What a stupid evil bitch.

  82. 82

This reminds me to what happened to the body double for Jennifer Beals in the 1983 film "Flashdance". The REAL dancer was Marine Jahan, and if memory serves it was Jennifer herself who did the reveal, and gave Marine full credit-classy, and it was the right thing to do. What was worse for Marine though that her name was NOT in the movie's credits at the end of the film. The film's producers claimed it was an 'oversight' but that's bullshit. They did it on purpose to help create the elusion that Jennifer was doing all the dancing. I wish Natalie Portman would do the classy thing like Jennifer as well and give full credit to the dancer that made her look good up there during the ballet sequences. It's the right thing to do.

  83. 83

Re: zenseed75 – The dancer knew what she was getting into before she started going into the movie. She is just making a big deal out of it because of how big the movie became. There are dancers everywhere that didnt get credit in a movie and you do not hear them saying anything.
No matter how much Natalie did not learn, she still took a year and a half to perfect what was going to be in the movie. She was committed to the movie more than some actors are. I never heard her say that she was taking credit for the dancing but i think Natalie should get credit for the work that she put in. Most people i am sure assumed that she had a body double. Most movies do so I do not see why this is "shocking" or why the dancer has to bring this up.

  84. 84

Someone should just ask Natalie the hard question flat out and on camera-who did most of the dancing-you, or your body double Sarah Lane. In the movies doubles have a right to receive full credit for their work. It should be written in to their contracts. I don't know if there's a union for them but this should automatic.

  85. 85

Natalie did some of the dancing, the double did the more intense stuff. We saw just as much as intense stuff as we did less-intense stuff. And who's to say they didn't try and shoot everything with Natalie dancing, and then shoot everything with the double dancing, and then pick and choose the places they could show Natalie?

Yeah, the dancer should get credit for being a dancer, but it's not like we were watching Black Swan for the dancing. We were watching it for the story and she just needs to shut up and go continue her career as a ballerina because nothing she's doing right now is making her likable. She was paid to be Natalie Portman's body. You don't see Jeff Bridges' younger self's body double from Tron going around bitching about how he didn't get enough credit. And it's not different because she was dancing; it was what she was hired to do. If you take a job, you do it, and you don't bitch about it afterward when it turns out EXACTLY AS YOU SHOULD IT EXPECT IT TO.

  86. 86

Re: sanaa – You must be former classmate and bitterly jealous as Hell. Did Natalie screw your boyfriend?

If not, if you don't know the woman at all, then there is something desperately wrong with you.

I'm glad she's engaged and pregnant…you know the IMPORTANT things in life. . .and she won the oscar not because of her dancing! She's a brilliant actress and emotionally carried that movie! Well deserved!

Re: sanaa – Seriously? Only nazi scum would bring up her religion!

Who cares? It's not like I'm going to rush out to buy it. Isn't there something better to write about?

Re: zenseed75 – It's never cool when someone takes credit for what another person does. I can't believe that anyone would believe that Portman did all that dancing, and I think it's pretty crappy that someone as allegedly smart and classy as Portman would go along with such a farce. She got all the attention, and she made buckets of bucks. She ought to give credit where it's due and thank the real dancer who made her look so good in the movie.

@Lemonbird I agree. Although I should mention, Matt Damon is not in the FIghter. Mark Wahlberg is :)

We understand that Natalie won an Oscar for acting. But they shouldn't lie about who did the dancing. We're all tired of getting lied to. Politicians, Hollywood, reality shows, and news people. It is hard to believe anyone these days.

Re: @v@ – Being a Ballerina is stupid. This dumb bitch is just trying to grasp at any attention she can because noone watches her. SHes a dumb bitch.

  94. 94

Sure she did most of the dancing…and Angelina Jolie does most of her stunts! LoooooooooooooooL

  95. 95

okay i've had enough of this girl. just stfu.

  96. 96

Well, Perez, what prompted YOU to make a video of you dancing as The Black Swan? All of the attention and make-up? The tutu; over-all costume? The chance to wear a wig? Your skill as a ballet dancer? Or was it your "look-at-Us-We-can-do-it!" self-appointed queenliness? It certainly wasn't any talent. It is a case of giving talent it's due, much as professional singers are used in many musical films and cartoons.

  97. 97

Jealous much! You are a body double. We are not supposed to see your face, know who you are and we don't care how much of the movie she really danced. A movie is a fantasy, when you let people know all the tricks you ruin it. Get over yourself. If you want to be the star, start auditioning for movies and quit the dancing sista!

Re: sanaa – You want to see a piglet, look in the mirror! Must suck to be you!

    … and in other news..

Body double or not, Natalie Portman deserved that Oscar! I agree that this dancer should be given credit, but I don't agree on how she makes herself out to be the most important thing that gave Natalie the Oscar. She makes it sound like it is because of her that Natalie won the Oscar. Any professional dancer with the right build could have stepped in for her. But only Natalie could have portrayed Nina the way she did. I think this dancer has a point, because she feels very undervalued. But please, stop milking it. It isn't your time to shine.
