No one will be able to say that the first-ever Comedy Awards was boring.
Last night, Hammerstein Ballroom was packed to the brim with the funniest people in Hollywood as they celebrated, well, themselves for being so funny. There were a lot of surprise guests and HIGHalrious moments, but a HIGHlight of the evening came towards the end of the night when emcee Andy Richter announced they were graced with a very special guest from Two and a Half Men. As the crowd widely starting searching the crowd for a warlock, they instead found they were hanging with a troll, as Jon Cryer came from the wings.
Jon held nothing back and went WILD through the audience. He then hopped on stage to take a few more digs at his old costar, Charlie Sheen, AND perform a new number coming off his upcoming album. Oh yes, Jon is "recording an album." No word on the title yet, but give his mind tools some time and we're sure he'll come up with something! HA!
The rest of the evening was fairly chill, but also extremely entertaining, which was just fine by the folks in attendance.
