LA Noire Is First Video Game Ever To Be Featured At Tribeca Film Festival

| Filed under: Film FlickersTech TalkPerezTVEvents

This definitely seems like a controversial move.

Check out the trailer (above) for Rockstar Games' LA Noire, which is scheduled to be featured at the Tribeca Film Festival.

This marks the first time EVER that a video game has been "a featured selection at the prestigious film fest."

We've come a loooooong way since Pac-Man, baby! LOLz.

Do U think this "revolutionary" video game deserves to be featured at Tribeca? Or should the prestigious film festival stick solely to films?

Re: kchobo123 – LOL. It's the 1940s and historically accurate, how many African American and Latino characters do you think there'd be?

This is incredible. The game is revolutionary with its facial animation technology and cinematic ability, plus it has many actors in it. Rockstar deserves its due.

The facial expressions are amazing! The best I've ever seen in a Video Game!

Thats actually amazing. Most of all games fail at facil expressions and this one is just wow. I really liked it. I still dont think tho that it should be in a flim festival, there are already many game conventions where this could be displayed.

Another great game from Rockstar. We got Red Dead Redemption last year and now L.A. noire. Can't wait for this to come out.

I don't know if it's just really good marketing or what, but this game looks amazing! I would love to check it out. I also think it's really cool that they used real actors in the game and made the characters to resemble their real life counterparts. Awesome!
