Charmed Creator Sues CBS

Faulty accounting is being blamed for the creator of the long-running supernatural CBS show missing out on millions of dollars!

Constance M. Burge says that her contract for the show gave her fixed compensation and 7.5% of the "Adjusted Gross Receipts" from the show.

But that's not what she got:

Burge claims that CBS Studios, which stepped into the shoes of producer Spelling Television, has shortchanged her and failed to allow a complete audit of the series. Even without being granted full access to the books and records, Burge claims her auditors "uncovered substantial underreporting of income due to" her, according to the suit.

If that's true, it's a bum deal and we don't doubt the courts will prove it and you'll be rewarded your money, Constance!

In the meantime, we'd like to thank you for the awesome series before the supernatural's take over and flooding of the markets! Fab job!

We'll be watching to see if justice is served!

charmed is my favourite show ever!!!

Charmed was so much better when Constance was in charge so good for her. I hope she gets what she deserves - a lot. Charmed sucked when Constance AND Shannen Doherty left.

Perez just to let you know Charmed never was on CBS. Charmed aired on the WB. CBS did release the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth seasons of Charmed on dvd because I think CBS brought Paramount which released the first, second, third, and fourth seasons of Charmed. Just thought to let you know so that you can correct that.
