Yesterday, we reported that Jim Jones, the rapper, was busted by the police for driving with a suspended license. Now, sources have revealed to us the circumstances of his arrest and where he was headed to in such a hurry.
Turns out, Jim was headed to a music video shoot yesterday for Everybody Jones, the next single off his new album, CAPO. It was while he was en route that he was sagged by the police. Fortunately for him, the judge issued a desk appearance ticket and released him immediately. He'll have to reappear in court at a later date, but for now, he was able to fly to Chicago for a show.
So long as he didn't get away scot-free, we're cool with this. Do the crime, pay the price…at some point.
