West Hollywood Petitions For An Elizabeth Taylor Street

Um, as well they should! Such an iconic woman. Such a humanitarian. She deserves to be recognized in such a way…and what better place than West Hollywood!

According to Michelle Rex, the interim deputy director for Councilman John D'Amico, residents of the predominantly gay neighborhood of Los Angeles have been writing and calling their councilman non-stop in an effort to have a street named after the late Elizabeth Taylor.

At present, no formal discussions have started up…so perhaps more letters and phone calls need to be made!

Get to work, WeHo! She gave the world so much with her movies and AIDS fundraising…we owe her this!
