beyonce teams up with london producer for new album

Out with the old, in with the new!

Earlier this week, Beyonce parted ways with her manager father, Mathew Knowles, after long time reports of a strained professional relationship.

Now, Beyonce is teaming up with producer Dave Taylor, aka Switch (his DJ name), to re-invent her sound for her upcoming fourth album.

Taylor/Switch is renowned for remixing Lily Allen and Fatboy Slim, as well as making beats for Xtina, M.I.A., and Santogold.

Here's what Beyonce had to say about the new album:

"I'm not in a box. The new record is not R&B, not typically pop, not rock. It's just everything I love mixed together."

We're intrigued. We'll look forward to hearing your new sound, Beyonce! Good luck!

It's great that she's still making music in her 40's.

Remember when Floptina was thinking she was so edgy working on a new sound with English producers? blah.

Can't wait… Beyonce always puts out quality music. This is exciting!

    Forgotten.

Whateva! She said the last album was gonna have a new sound & it was the same ole shit..

Why is she famous? I just can't figure it out. Her music is so generic that I don't know one of her songs. Her and JHO. WHY?

I love her so much so this kinda scares me. I hope she doesn't do something totally random like Rihanna's bullshit or something, but I'm pretty sure Beyonce's not like that:)

Worked for Tina. A change is a good as a rest. I hope she has fun carving it out.

Re: ParisIsBurning – funny, Beyonce is using some of the same people "Floptina" used on Bionic. Sia is working on this Beyonce album too, thanks to Christina personally calling Sia & asking her if she would like to work with her on Bionic, now everyone wants to work with Sia.

Beyoncè has been inspired by Christina Aguilera her whole career. Gurl, just admit it.
