Vanilla Ice Is Captain Hook, Hook Baby!

The good news: Vanilla Ice will be playing Captain Hook in an upcoming theatrical production of Peter Pan.
The bad news: Those of us who don't live in England will have to start saving up for plane tickets.
That's right, folks! Vanilla Ice will be starring as Peter Pan's nemesis in an upcoming stage adaptation of J.M. Barrie's play, which will start playing in England this December.
But it gets even weirder….the production will be completely in pantomime!
How wild is that? Here's what the theater manager for the production had to say about it:
"(He) has never performed in a pantomime before, but I am sure that he will go down as a hit."
Crazy! We're very curious to see Ice's acting/pantomiming skillz!
Go ninja Vanilla, go Vanilla, go!

in england, a pantomime means something completely different. its a traditional British Christmas entertainment for children, usually based on nursery tales and featuring stock characters in costume who sing, dance, and perform skits.
A British panto or pantomime doesnt mean its done in pantomime, like with mimes. Its a short-running holiday play with music. They usually feature some 2nd or 3d tier performer.
