are people still interested in harry potter? sure, it was hot like twenty years ago . . . and harry potter must be a grandfather by now,.

  2. 2

Still excited and can't wait to see the final instalment!

  3. 3

i swear i've never watched HP movie, except for a few min on TV. THis is stuff for children. I dont get how anyone above 20 could watch this. Also Twilight… i'd never watch that.
I only watched Narnia 1st part for sentimental reasons.

    Re: jesyrene
It wasn't even out 20 years ago, you idiot.
Can't wait to see the movie!!

  5. 5

If u guys dont like it then why come here and comment about it? Its only like the best selling science fiction saga ever. And the books have many different layers, so an adult can take different elements than a child.

  6. 6

The Harry Potter books are the best books. They are met for children but adults are into them as well. A lot of adults grew up with the books. Then there is the movies….great fun movies…close as you can get to the books.

These movies and books will go down in history July 15th, is going to be a bittersweet moment. I can't wait to see the final movie but there will be no more books or movies to look forward too.

  7. 7

Now I really can't wait anymore! This was awesome.

Re: SkipperBarbie – and that why we see the Harry Potter movies, sentimental reasons I myself grew up reading and watching Harry Potter ever since i was 10 and i will be 21 this october and the last couple books/movies are not really for children fyi, they're extremely dark

  9. 9

Harry Potter may be directed towards children but there are a lot of strong topics in the story, like death, murder, sacrifice, and war. And also, how unconditional love is what keeps people united through the tough times. Many older fans of the franchise are able to connect in some way or another to the books. The fantasy and mystical elements of the story make it fun and interesting for all ages.

    AHHHHHHHHHH

Re: jesyrene – Lol seriously. I lost interest in the movie after the 2nd one.

  12. 12

    Re: deathcabjenny2
    i totally agree wi u!!! =D
i cant wait to see the movie!!!!!!!!!1

  13. 13

Re: Ivybby – even the twilight francise, which killed harry potter, is now dead. so this is REALLY ancient history.

  14. 14

Perez! stop saying "epic" epic is over used now! stop trying to make "epic" happen! its just sounds sad when u try to use it!

  15. 15

Seriously? I can't people are really commenting on this about not liking harry potter. I know so many people may age, over 20, who are completely obsessed so for all of you that hate it just go away and stop commenting on this. harry potter is freaking amazing and I am soooooooo excited

  16. 16

The person holding the camera has shakey hands. Not surprised you'd post a pirated movie clip. And the studio will be contacting you in 3…2…1.

  17. 17

I am counting the days! For fellow Potter fans and people who have the capability of critical thought, I recommend a book called, "The Ultimate Harry Potter and Philosophy" edited by William Irwin and Gregory Bassham. It makes me laugh when people call the series for children…clearly someone has never studied philosophy or perhaps literature either.

  18. 18

    i like it a lot

  19. 19

Re: SouthernSara7 – It makes me laugh when people elevates crap into the category of philosophy or literature.

  20. 20

I can't wait! This looks soooooo good! And the books aren't really "children's" books. I think they started out that way but as the series kept going they transformed into books adults enjoy. I don't even think a child could read the last couple of books. It would be complicated for them to understand and they are dark.

  21. 21

I'm going to avoid watching the clip because I wanna wait ’til the movie comes out but HP=Best book series ever!

  22. 22

Harry Potter is awesome. The movies are okay if you've never read the books, but the books are beautifully written.
And it's not just for kids, when the books started it was aimed at younger kids, but the point was to grow up with the readers.

  23. 23

harry Potter is a cultural phenom, it is an amazing part of many peoples childhood, and I am truly saddened to see it end. This isn't just your random bit of pop culture, hating hp is hating something so many people in the world hold dear to their hearts, you have a right to an opinion, but unless you are looking for enemies, i suggest not commenting.

  24. 24

  25. 25

I got a chill and almost cried. This was my childhood and I'm 19 now, i don't want to say goodbye.

  26. 26

Re: Jacqueline Vera – I guess you've never heard the Charlie Sheen song? Sweets, you're so deprived!

  27. 27

Oh God I cannot wait for this movie to come out. It's going to be the end of my childhood, but it's going to be so good.
And for anyone questioning Harry Potter's relevance to anyone older than a child, I recommend reading "Harry, A History" by Melissa Anelli or "The Deathly Hallows Lectures" by John Granger (no relation to Hermione). This story blows everything else out of the water, even Narnia, and God knows the quality of Twilight can't hold a candle to this.

  28. 28

This is truly the last piece of my childhood coming to an end. I'll probably be sobbing at the end of the movie and applauding at the end.

  29. 29

Re: SkipperBarbie – If you've never watch a HP movie, your opinion isn't valid. You're judging out of ignorance.

  30. 30

That is BS! Ollivander doesn't know about the deathly hallows!!!!!
    grrrrrrrrrrr
the whole point of two movies was to honor everything in the book so what was the point of that! They cover all that stuff with X. Lovegood! Grrrr

  31. 31

I will be sobbing when this movie ends. I've been a HP fan for more than half my life.

  32. 32

@jesyrene "who is interesting in harry potter it was hot like 20 years ago" then why did the last potter film gross nearly 1,000,000,000 dollars world wide? why is is the #1 movie franchise is HISTORY of movie franchises? why are the books most successful of all books? 11 million copies in ONE DAY. Clearly, tons of people are interested u moron CANT wait fro part 2 i will SOB so hard :(

  33. 33

Re: jesyrene – You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. How did Twilight kill Harry Potter? The last HP movie, which came out this past November, grossed $952,163,279 in theaters worldwide. The last Twilight movie on the other hand grossed $698,491,347. Wow! Twilight sure did kill HP. It sure is dead….Not. Perhaps you should learn what you are talking about before opening your mouth.

  34. 34

if you don't like it then don't watch this/waste your time commenting on it because that's sad!

  35. 35

i can't wait…this movie is going to be the epitome of EPIC!!

  36. 36

READ the books before you comment !!!

  37. 37

Re: jesyrene – Lol "The Twilight franchise killed Harry Potter". Lol who's into Twilight anymore? I haven't heard anybody bring that shit up in ages. People talk about Harry Potter all the time. You see commercials on TV, on the internet, posters everywhere when a movie comes out. Do you see any of that for Twilight anymore? No, you don't, because most people that were into Twilight aren't little girls anymore and realize that those books and movies suck. I've seen it happen to lots of people.

  38. 38

Children's books?? Nope. I thought that too, until I read them…the last two books are certainly not for children. I'm an adult. I think I might cry when the end credits roll.

  39. 39

Re: jesyrene – ur kidding right?

  40. 40

Re: SkipperBarbie – just because u don't watch it doesn't mean nobody does.HP has been a part of my life since the day i turned 11.i'll turn 22 this apr. & i can watch this perfectly fine.

  41. 41

Re: SkipperBarbie – ok now you can go back to bed, and don't forget to take off your false teeth.

  42. 42

Re: xKatAB – The twilight franchise is more alive than ever. I am a twilight fan more than a HP fan, sorry but is true, love my vampires and love stephenie meyer and her books.

  43. 43

OMG!! cant wait.. Sorcerer stone + Wand of Dumbledore [currently in the hands of the Dark lord] + The invincibility cloak [currently in hands of Harry].i just forget where is the stone.. LOL

  44. 44

i don't care what haters say…i just wanna watch the movie. :)

  45. 45

I love the books and really grew up with them, to say that it's not popular anymore is ignorant. What was really smart of J.K. Rowling is that the books matured with the intended audience, So the tone of the philosophers stone is much lighter as the tone of the deadly hallows. I was actually kind of shocked to see that pretty young children bought and read the deadly hallows, since it's quite dark!

  46. 46

I almost started to cry. Oh man, I'm a weirdo. And what's up with music? It sounds great but doesn't fit into the scene.

  47. 47

Re: Chris Cano – I thought Dumbledore destroyed the stone in the first book. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

  48. 48

Re: jesyrene – You are an idiot!

Can't wait for this movie!! :-) Kinda sad it's ending though

  49. 49

Re: jesyrene – are you retarded? twilight didnt come close to killing harry potter… 95% of harry potter fans HATE twilight… Harry potter actually has a compelling story and doesnt pull shit out of its ass like twilight did.

  50. 50

Re: jesyrene – People are still interested in Mickey Mouse, and Star Trek. Something wrong with that wet blanket?

  51. 51

Re: newtexana – All that proves is that you have terrible taste in literature…

  52. 52

Re: jesyrene – for someone who has obviously never read the books you sure do have a lot to say, only an idiot does that. Twilight killed Harry Potter? I don't know what crack den you live in but twilight can't touch harry potter. Harry potter is superior to twilight in EVERY WAY.

  53. 53

Re: Chris Cano – The Sorcerer's Stone isn't the same as the resurrection stone. And the resurrection stone is the horcrux that is a ring.
